It was an interesting day to say the least, just 15-20 minutes before we had someone taken off in an ambulance, BTW he was fine when he was checked out at the hospital, then the throttle sticking crash.
The turnout was more than we had expected given the conditions but very few drove their sled in, I always ride mine but opted not to which was a bummer as I prefer to sled everywhere when I'm up there. Paul purchased a better timing system which eliminated having to use a radar gun, it is basically a system similar to a real drag track where there is two beams at the end to get a trap speed and it showed up on a screen placed by the starting line, it worked flawlessly and everyone could clearly see the speed.
