Stand-up riding

Took a ride last night on the old 79 TX440..........no standing up on that old lady, your sitting and taking every 2 inch bump like a man.....but I love it.

Standing up is great for hitting that overhead branch with your hand that is loaded with snow just in time to catch your buddy in the face behind you with a nice fresh whitewash.....Pine tree branches work the best... :)

I LOVE that this post is still going!!! I laugh every time I see that there is a new post to it!!! P.S. I stand while riding so the people behind me can check out my a**!! LOL

This thread was lame at first with all the criticism but now it's getting funny....ZRgrl that was a good one!!

I sit and stand depends on what we are doing. Mostly for comfort when standing. Moogles hurts my tail bone so I stand when I see them coming.

Carving is better when standing you can tip it a lot easier.

Did that all last weekend to the unsuspecting riders behind me, got some pretty good shots in.

BigVin when you stand you can reach the tops of the trees, you goin with us next time?

I would bet that most of the sit down riders also sit on there a$$ at work all day. The folks that stand probly work on there feet all day. Just a thought but may be true.

I am probably one of the laziest people in the world (ask my dad Wiggsfive) and I stand up 95% of the time.


Oh and when I do work, I sit down all day. ;)
