Looks like Florence County has the usual "dry slot",,,,, snowing North & South of there 😫

On another note, Iron Snowshoe in Crivitz opened the trails.
I have always called this area the dry slot capital of the U.P. Really pisses me off. I left the south suburbs of Chicago which got mostly rain thank God and headed up north to Florence which must have been on the north side of the main event. I see it blowing around with the wind but maybe 2-3" so far. just a regular snow event and not a blizzard they were calling for. At least not here.

Happen all the time in 16 years I was in Phelps and why we started from my house. I was pulling for ya all the talk was going east thought you might finally get it. Probably good thing Cass didn’t come.

SATURDAY MORNING: Neenah, Wisconsin, still snowing, winds have calmed down. I'll get a measurement of the snows when I go out to clean up, but it's a lot. I haven't seen a storm like this in years, many years!

I measured 10" from this storm. It gave the snowblower and me a good workout. Here's a pic of our roofline on our lower level.

Yah at least 10" here in Darboy.

2.5 hrs. blowing snow(did neighbors). Yard laps....buried it twice!! Some huge drifts between houses. And re cleaned driveway after the laps. 😂
I'm beat now. Maybe get roof rake out later....Southside hanging over 1' or more.....but that'll be after my nap. Lol

Nice, it seems in lakewood..to figure out how much snow is actually going to fall, one needs to take the weather model, gfs whatever, divide there snow predictions in half..subtract 1 and that's what actually occurs.

We went from 8 to 12+ down to 5.
It seams they all want to over hype things. Granted another of folks got a predicted amount of snow. But it never seems to pan out up here.

Sucks for sure and I wish the northwoods would’ve gotten this snow instead. We were forecasted for 10-15 for this and that’s exactly what we got. I read the air became very dry in the northwoods and that’s what caused northern WI to be a bust

Sleds were out yesterday! We rode in Columbia county. Lot of families out yesterday. Lot of smiles talking to riders at stops. Surprisingly there wasn't too many wet spots that we encountered. Winter finally arrived here😁 sorry for the others that didn't get the predicted snow. At least there are areas to ride now!
