Tens miles into today's ride my temp gauge started going crazy. Called Pat's and Jerry said get it here. They robbed a temp sender off a different sled to get me going. Half hour later the 850 was back and me and Fuji ended up with a 300 mile day!! Awesome!! Hancock to Iron River!!
Awesome!! Thanks boys!!

This is a common story with Pat's.

Thats why even though it does cost a couple bucks more, we buy and have them serviced at Pat's. They put us back on the trail, the same day way to many times for us not to support them.

That same story happens almost every day during snowmobiling season at Pats Motorsports! Jerry is a great service manager with a great group of mechanics doing the work to get you back on the snow.

Ditto! I needed to replace the rear wheel bearings in my Viking, so my buddy took the hubs down there, and they pressed out the old and pressed in the new lickity split! I haven't had any issues with 18 RMK 800, just over 1700 miles on it now, but I feel confident that if I did, they'd get it fixed and fixed quickly!

First trip up to the UP and my husband's sled overheats next to the Firesteel on 13. Leave my husband and head toward a random dealer at the time in Greenland to get some antifreeze. Get back, fill sled up and overheating again before getting back to Pat's. Finally get there on a Saturday in the afternoon and expect to be told can't help you. Instead it was let's take a look. 25 minutes later back on the trail. Great people.

It's always nice to have a dealer to be a stand up place and have stand up people....If I was buying today, that would be one of the first stops.

good peeps, good service = success

They have said me or my crew more than 1 time in the past years. If near by, we always stop, for fuel, snack or gloves. The last time we were there, had an issue where we lost an ice scratcher. Had a new one installed in 10 minutes. And price was very fair. What more can one ask for?

Taking care of people.... the best form of advertising that no amount of money can buy! A business practice that is so far and few and in between! Great job guys!

For what they charge for sleds, (NO deals) they should be in the upper 1% of service. Called them 10 times over 20 years, and never were they close on price.

Before a complete bashing begins ask a few more questions. My first would be what is not even close, $200, $500, $1000 or more? And has he actually went there or just called? And was the price quoted final price or all kinds of extras? I have only dealt with Pat’s a couple times but very stand up group so have to take everything into consideration. I have paid more to buy where you ride but I don’t trailer so the few extra bucks is worth not having to trailer 300 plus miles if I have a service problem.

Cirrus Driver, you're right!!! We're not always the cheapest but your full of to say not even close. There isn't much money in new sleds but hey you know everything about anything. You obviously have a problem with Pat's so you know where I'm at if you need to address it face to face. BTW we are in the 1% pal. If you don't like a Snickers bar don't eat it but don't slam it!! Total is what you are pal! You get what you pay for. We offer a top notch service department and we pay our techs accordingly!!! If we don't make money we don't exist. GET REAL IS RIGHT!!!!!! I don't want to be the cheapest dealer on the market and I certainly don't want the customer who's only looking for that!!!!!!! I want the customer who appreciates this business for what it has to offer from the whole aspect of the service. I don't usually get this mad but this is total and utter bull. We may not be the cheapest but I'll put this service department against any out there pal and we're here 7 days a week for our customer. Why don't you come up and run this shop for 1 yr and we'll see how you do managing and paying the bills. You're super lame!

My buddy’s rmk a few weeks back was running like trash after attempting to fix everything we dropped it off there at 4 pm on a Saturday a (what other dealer is open at 4pm on Saturday) and picked it up at 8 am the next Sunday morning a week later and went and rode it all day (what other dealer is even open on Sundays?) most of my local dealers close at 5pm weekdays, noon on Saturday’s, and not open Sunday’s which makes it very difficult to get there for most people who work over a 40 hr work week. Besides the times they are open, we chose to drop it off there because they were the only dealer we trusted working on it. Go Pats!

This is our 40th year in business and I watched my parents start it in their front yard in 1979 with two cedar poles and some banners. Cirrus Driver if you're going to attack a business I watched my parents build over 40 years from blood, sweat, and tears then it's going to become very personal for me! My mother died from cancer working this business at the age of 61 and never got a chance to retire. You don't know this business and you don't know the history of it. All you know is a cheap price along with byr13 and a few others. Keep the name of my business out of your mouth. I haven't had a day off since December 6th helping make this business go and 1st and foremost taking care of our customers. You don't know us and you don't know what it takes to keep this business operating at the level it does so shut the up about Pat's!!! I'm the guy that would pull over if you needed something, not many do that. I'm the guy that will open my shop up or be here on a Sunday consistently to keep your trip going and I learned that from my parents. BTW, we're the number Yamaha snowmobile dealer in our district, #1 in the State of Michigan, and #2 in National sales over the last year so I guess my prices are just out of this world right? YEAH, GET REAL!!!

Been a member of this board for years but this might be my 1st ever post. Usually just read and look at the pictures. Anyway -

I was looking for a specific model of sidewinder and they happened to have one. Talked to Paul and he'd just taken a deposit on it but had a similar model available. Ended up doing a package deal on a pair of Yamaha's. Thought that they treated me well on the deal and knocked a fair amount off the asking price even knowing I was coming from central MN and they wouldn't be seeing me for parts, service, etc... unless we were back in the area. All in all it was a great experience. Paul was great to work with and Kip yelled hello as he ran by to tend to another customer. Two Thumbs UP from me.

Ah I know towtruck. Usually don't respond to negativity. Just sucks you get a nice post from slimcake and others and someone has to be douche bag. I know we get a lot of positive posts on here and I'm sure some folks get sick of it. I don't ask anyone to do that, but damn it we work hard and those positive comments make it worth while. Thank you! Sorry I lost it!

Sometimes it good to get it off your chest and stand up for what's right and what you & others believe in!
