The 2017 Polaris lineup? What do you think is needed and what might they do?

Skidoo four strokes will light up the gauges when not running, even without the tether, just hit the start button. Stays on for about a minute.

how about a fricking beeper for when in reverse .
so when your bud parks his truck behind yours and u go to load your buddy's sled on the deck and track spins on ice so u put it in reverse back up close to your buddy's truck. then get off adjust sled for straight shot get back sled on and floor it right back in to his painted pumper and scratch and actually dent it a bit .
not that that happened to me yesterday :( but I will prob be stopping at a body shop to pay a bill in the next few weeks

As said in the Doo thread, I don't see these guys coming with a performance grade 4s either. I'd say they have made the least amount of effort in the past too. They have a fine riding chassis in the AXYS and they FINALLY have their 800 performing up to the level of the other 2 mfg's. Polaris has made a fine comeback after hearing rumors a few years ago they were going to phase out of the sled market. I had a chance to ride one of the new AXYS 800's and it was a very fun machine, light, nimble, great ride and handling and a strong feeling motor.

Yea got my foot run over couple of years ago. Wearing either my Sorels or LaCrosse boots. OUCH! No idea he was backing up, and he was looking over other shoulder.

Crappy situation for sure! But it would be the first thing I would disable on my sled if mine had one... Nothing annoys me more than listening to my buddys M8 beep in the woods.

it is annoying but when u are use to it u just expect to here it and when u don't u hit your buds truck lol . are u sure u would not un hook it just so u don't get chit from your bud from hearing it beep coming down that steep long setup hill out west  that beeping mid way down is the sound of fear

75% of my reverse use comes from being stuck mid sidehill in the upper deck, holding my sled pinned bouncing off the rev limiter, before taking it out of reverse to try and pop it back up on top of the snow (well since it's a pro rmk they actually pop up out of the snow ya know ;) ). Combining the rev limiter with a beeper sure would be enough to peez a guy off when he's already possibly stuck :)

You Polaris guys and gals, what do you think will be out in 2017? What do you wish would come out?

I would love to see a new 4S motor in a Switchback Adventure AXYS chassis!

I've been waiting for that too!

Only it's too late for me now, because of Doo and some dealers not wanting 3 years of non currents out back in crates cut prices before it was too late to sell this season and I bought a 16 1200 Renegade for a good price and don't think I will be in the market for a new one for quite a few years. So far I love it! (although I've learned my lesson not to buy anyone's first year model)

Reading these comments, it sure seems that there is a market for those who want to buy and hold for a few years and don't need the latest and greatest. People want a Poo 4 stroke, or an extended Indy, etc. Don't need the beaver tail or the crazy high shocks. I assume they don't focus on the value part of the market as the margins aren't there.

My relative who lives up near Phelps for the winter now that he is retired has bought more Poo's throughout the year than I can count. This year he sold his last one and bought a Renegade 900. Would like a Poo 4 stroke but they don't make one. Already has a Vector for the other sled but wanted something you sit higher on.

When did you buy it? I assume you bought it in Duluth?
