I can't wait till the snow storms like the one the last week of February. The deep powder was the most fun ever. Wet heavy and deep. Breaking trail, powder over the hood. The bigger the bumps the faster I want to go. Dec 1 trail 13 out of Pat's to Twinn lakes will be broken in..
WE RIDE!!!!!!!!!!![]()
Had some deep conversations (alcohol involved) over the weekend about the upcoming riding season. The general consensus was nothing can be worse than last season. Down by me we didn't open trails at all. What are people's thoughts about this season, pessimistic or optimistic?
That 20+inch dump was epic but I had a tuff time with all that powder with my Attak. Venturenorth called me cancelled our ride that day said too much snow & like a big fool I went out alone. Big mistake 1-2 miles & I was soaked constant stream of powder over the hood struggled to turn around big stuck never made it out our road. ....![]()
HOPEFULLY we get snow in moderation IN NWWI, not like last season when we got dumped with alot of heavy wet stuff at once the groomers couldn't work with. Then we had to hear everyone bitch cause it wasn't groomed overnight. Last year sucked for us, Hopefully it is better this winter, hate to live with a groomer Hubby that has to deal with it. GODSPEED fast!
Totally agree those were impossible trail conditions with limited time to groom out. Huge snow =huge bumps or no groom. I feel for your groomer hubby as was no win for groomers too much snow all at once followed by very heavy traffic. I gave area condtion reports saying trails had limited groom & this was not a typical snow then groom Aok all is normal riding. In that condition you will have a groom that will tear up easily & nothing any groomer can do about it as traffic moves thru. Got to take the good with the bad & groomer whining my be informative but complaining was useless.IMO![]()
