"toxicology reports revealed that Ward was under the influence of marijuana at a high enough level to impair judgment."

Two videos of the incident were examined and revealed there was "no aberrational driving by Tony Stewart."

Case closed, lets move on, please.

That will play a large role in the civil suite the family basically said is coming in their statement today

"All the other vehicles were reducing speed and not accelerating except for Stewart, who intentionally tried to intimidate Kevin by accelerating and sliding his car toward him, causing the tragedy. The focus should be on the actions of Mr. Stewart. This matter is not at rest and we will pursue all remedies in fairness to Kevin."

Not a racing fan but common sense tells me to stay in my car as other vehicles come flying by. What are you going to accomplish by getting out of your car as others go by? Throw your helmet, that doesn't scare anyone. If it's that big of a deal take it up in the pits.

That is the families statement. There was a second video as others have mentioned (I have not seen it) but the grand jury did, and felt no one did anything out of the ordinary on the race track.

The family blames Stewart, because they lost their son. Tragic, but he was in the wrong, intimidations or not.

What I find a little disheartening is that it seems the Ward family is out for blood. It sounds like a civil lawsuit may be in the works. I understand they lost a family member, but is this not a very dangerous sport with high risk of bodily injury and/or death? If Ward doesn't leave his car, he's still around today to race. End of story.

X2 - I doubt a civil suit will hold ANY water here.
