At 3:30 I have 102 degrees in the sun. The local news station says 94.

What have you got?

KARE11 says current temp in Mpls/St. Paul is 100 ("feels like" temp 108) Remember, it's not the heat it's the humidity....

Thermometer bottoms out on the peg at 110*......it's pegged right now. It's just too hot and humid to enjoy anything. I won't even take the bike out today. Just gonna chill out with the dogs in the A/C while the wife is at work.

Radio says "official temp at the airport, 102" Driving around in the truck it reads 104. After sitting in the parking lot, it read 110. Wife is asking when I plan to fire up the grill. I'm thinking of firing up the phone and ordering pizza.

Not to rub it in, but only low 80's up here.

Snow in the winter, cooling in the summer...Lake Superior is a beautiful thing all year long.

Spent last week in the UP. I think I chose the wrong one. Temp when I in my truck at home read 115 down to 104 while driving today. I would be much happier enjoying Lake Superior this week. Happy 4th everyone and god bless our troops. Thank you for our freedom.

Thank goodness you're not rubbing it in :) We do have a breeze - kind of a cross between a blast furnace and hot dog breath.

LOL....funny you say hot dog breath. One of our dogs just came in from out there in the blast furnace...she's a black terrier mix. Hopped on my lap and panted in my face. Her back was smokin hot, then add the dog breath...lol.....:p

Its hot, that is all I know. I was going to go out in the garage and start gathering up all our stuff for vacation that starts Saturday, and change the oil in my truck. Walked outside, stood there for a few minutes, and said screw this, and went back in the house. 10 hour day tomorrow at work, sitting in the air today. LOL.

Cold front just came in

It was 88 in the house today, no air. Down to 80 inside now, outside it's 70. Can hear thunder outside, hope it rains overnight! I spent time with my dogs standing in the lake, groomer hubby has been in an air conditioned tractor since 6am mowing the 2 Corridor.

same here LoveMyDobe: storm came through this afternoon around 5:30, was 86. Temps dropped like a rock and now 69. Yesterday was a scorcher and I headed right to Lake Superior and holy cow is it refreshing, I stayed in for 35 minutes

I know my therm is a little off - approached 110* late this afternoon. Had a 108* reading a few days ago.
AND more important T-Storms rolling thru all day yesterday dropped 1.8" rain and today .5 so far and hearing more thunder.
Only had 1.9" total for June.

Is that an old TX in front of your Ski Doo? I'm a sucker for vintage iron and have a soft spot for TX's.

Good eye! Yes, I went on a quest late last winter for a late 70's TX and actually found one that was in real good riding condition and another that has potential. They seem kind of hard to come by at a reasonable price so I considered myself lucky. The one in front of the Summit is a 79 340 and the one to the left is a 79 440. Pretty fired up to get them on the snow this winter.

They all look a little out of place next to the thermometer.

Clearing & spitting 5 huge trees that went down in Tuesday's 1AM storm. Mid 90s each day just wear as little clothing as possible, hydrate & been hosing down head & arms full of sawdust anyway. Yep it is hot & slows me down a bit but life goes on.:)
