about 5 or 6 years ago abercrombie and fitch had these thick sweat pants that were super soft. I went from flannel lined jeans to these and will never ride without the soft sweat pants again. A&F hasn't had them since that year. My wife is always checking to see if they come back so I can get a second pair but no such luck. All I wear under my klim bibs are the sweat pants, even on the coldest of days. Of course my undies too...

Modular 3 helmet on mild to cold days and the BVs2 on super cold days or when my son rides behind me. He likes the tail light on the BVs2 helmet. It's easier to see me at night with the snow dust cloud.

10 year old full leather gloves made by Yamaha at the time. Can't find a pair equivalent to them but would love suggestions. my gloves are real old...

agree with whitedust on the taller windshields. A must in the freezing misty rain.

X2 on the sweat pants, I have a pair of Klim bibs and wear a pair of fleece lined sweat pants under. If its really cold I put on pair of my Under Armour base layer then the sweatpants. Never been cold and very comfortable to be in all day!

I know the jeans have to go, and the cotton undies too. I'm going to try some of your suggestions this year. Don't want that chafing back at all either.

I wear Klim non-insulated bibs. Make sure you dry off good after shower. Apply some Monkey Butt, and wear UA Cold Gear compression and $20 fleece pants.
