Love my Mod 2 helmet. over the years have bought one for the wife and oldest kid.

X2! Love mine as well!

Last year was the first year I rode with a heated seat and a heated vest. I wondered how I ever did without it before! Kinda like electric start and reverse.....to me.

The only true "brand name" stuff I had was my SkiDoo coat, and a Modular 1 helmet. The rest was whatever was warm and dry from Cabelas, Farm and Fleet...etc....LOL

Well, could not pass it up. Motorfist equipped me from neck to toe in gear this year. Sticking with the Fly helmet.
We shall see. Everything supposed to arrive by the 22nd. So not sure what all and fit will be yet. Heard Rekon, hydro?, socks, next 2 skin and redline terms used. I still have all my klim and hmk stuff to fall back on. Price was right!!! Lol.

What do you guys wear for pants? I tried to wear some wicking type pants that were not very thick and had some bad chafing in a bad spot, if you know what I mean, anyway, I went back to jeans, and no chafing. I sure would like to wear something better than jeans, but that chafing hurts like heck.
Thanks,
Tim

YIKES!!!!... jeans I can feel the pinch now...not good....I wear a pair of doo fleece pants tie up like sweats, has cargo pocket on right leg for wallet...underneath buck naked boxer briefs ...plenty of ballroom. :) Up top RU outside poly shirt then Duluth long tail turtleneck, then sixsixone, top of that a fleece jacket when super cold but most of the time just my 3 in one shell.

I wear generic wicking long underwear, wicking running pants, unless cold out, then fleece pants instead of running pants.

I don't wear jeans snowmobiling anymore. Too uncomfortable now.

I know the jeans have to go, and the cotton undies too. I'm going to try some of your suggestions this year. Don't want that chafing back at all either.

about 5 or 6 years ago abercrombie and fitch had these thick sweat pants that were super soft. I went from flannel lined jeans to these and will never ride without the soft sweat pants again. A&F hasn't had them since that year. My wife is always checking to see if they come back so I can get a second pair but no such luck. All I wear under my klim bibs are the sweat pants, even on the coldest of days. Of course my undies too...

Modular 3 helmet on mild to cold days and the BVs2 on super cold days or when my son rides behind me. He likes the tail light on the BVs2 helmet. It's easier to see me at night with the snow dust cloud.

10 year old full leather gloves made by Yamaha at the time. Can't find a pair equivalent to them but would love suggestions. my gloves are real old...

agree with whitedust on the taller windshields. A must in the freezing misty rain.
