Walworth, Waukesha, Racine, & Kenosha Counties SE WI

We were only to pick up a half to one inch of snow today. WOW!!!! We have 5 inches already. What a waste of snow. Taking tracks off tractor tomorrow. Wait for this fall for hopefully a better winter.

I'm with you guys as well, worst year in the last 23 years both in miles and riding opportunities. Went 4 times total, two 2 day trips to the UP, one day in Sauk and one in Adams counties for the year. Nothing anywhere close to home. More miles in the truck than on the trail. Supposed to go up to the UP the latter part of next week for one last trip and may get shutout as well with the early week warm up. Got to give the seasonal forecasters a bone as they nailed this winters forecast.

Hey over a 100 posts on this thread and almost 7,000 views is pretty good though for the terrible year. I think Kenosha county opened for a few days and maybe part of Waukesha county for a couple days. Rest were closed. But hey we still had guys on here wishing, hoping, and talking about it.

Well that's it folks pretty much statewide I think. They even have 50s in forecast for next 10 days in Hurley. Pretty much can chart this year up in the loss column. Our club is going to start pulling trails this weekend where we can. Some fields are too wet still I am sure. See you all next year, let's hope for a better year.

Our Elkhorn Club got all of the stakes pulled Saturday before the rain set in. I know that is the earliest we have ever pulled them, about 3-4 weeks early. Hope next year we get to use the trails down here.

I played a round at Fox Lake CC Saturday in a short sleeve shirt and they even let carts out. There wasn't even a spot on the course that I thought was swampy. Too weird for mid March!
