Wasting time while at work

Let me clarify!!! Is anyone enjoying John Dee and our fine communtiy that we all share rather than doing something at work they should be...... Geez!!!!!

I made the mistake of buying an electric pole saw and my wife saw it. My back hurts! But, you can now see from rooms 22-29 all the way to Marinette!
Waiting for her to get changed so I can join the guests in the whirlpool with a cold one!

BTW, Point brewery just released 2012 Black Ale. Tasty stuff!

there is a teacher in a town next to me Wayzata that has a teacher still on the payroll who was busted with something like 700hrs logged in to e bey bidding on stuff during the time he was supposed to be teaching.students all said this guy spent 7/8 of the time on his lap top.tried to fire him teachers union seed no way went to bat for this dead beat and now he is still hard at it surfing the day away over a yr latter .LOVE the teachers union cant figure out why the USA is lagging behind in test scores though

Interesting topic and it just so happened that I was told today that I am on the internet too much. So NO JD/Lily the Bear/Pasty Cam/CNN/Comics and half a dozen other sites. Total withdrawal........and Serena was told this yesterday. Two unhappy JD er's. On the flip side, we do get our work done and then some!!!

I know I have to watch how much I go online as big brother is just looking for reasons to can us, altho I do understand to a point as I get paid by the hour and being in supervision I have to "set the example". So I do "hit and runs" during the day and on breaktimes thus part of the reason I can't follow everything here or get to post a lot. But there is not a day that goes by that I don't at least stop in. This is an awesome site!!!!

off the clock here if I was at work they would FIRE me in a instant for being on the web . Also you all better beware of what you all do on your companies computers they all have access to what you do and what you say and they can use it against you Also if you on a networking sight such as facebook or myspace if you post the wrong thing they can fire you if they don't like what your doing or saying on it BECAREFUL if your wasting time at work it may cost you your job and in this country jobs are getting harder to find unless you are willing to move to China

I was hoping for a little more "light" atmosphere when I posted the topic..... All very good points made and mentioned. I am fortunate enought to have a job where so long as the work gets done they really dont care if you "sneak a peek" at something non work related here and there. I was really hoping to start a buzz amongst my fellow John Dee'ers as it seems as though since the off season has found us the caliber of "fun chats" is way down!!!! I know its typical but anything to help us all get through the off season the way I see it........

Fish hard / Ride harder!!!!

P.S. I change those two around in about 6 months.....

just use a proxy website, they can't tell what your on then ;) i do it all the time at school. then i continue my search for sleds and trucks on CL

that isn't the only teacher that does it. This one new guy i had for the first semester of science, was on his comp. for the first 20 min. every class before he would tell us what to do. And he's not the only one. 3/4 of the teacher at my school spend at least 1/3 of classtime on their computers

Hate to burst bubbles here, but if you are on JD while at work you are stealing from your employer. I have plenty of time to post on "My time" and so should you. Time theft is the same as material theft. I own my own Companies and that is the view from the "Other side". It is not fair to be here on their dime, period. note: I am still the fun, luvable PR1 and we can disagree but deep down I am right?
