What Do You Think of the 2015 Snowmobiles?

Kid has decent job and no house payments, pretty sure he can afford new sled and still save for house. Especially if he sells current sleds.
No sense paying couple grand year on property taxes, just to have own house.

.

most true all depends on where a guy wants to be in 20yrs that's all.
standing behind a press pumping out parts for some one else struggling along in the working mans life
or driving the new sled every yr on work put in 20 yrs earlier.
believe me I have pissed way more than my fair share of cash on toys and not made the better investment at the time and 30 yrs later I remember every one I passed on for the good time.
btw the cabin I got at indys age was 22g and the lady held the paper for 8 yrs. it is worth as much as my house now. I really wanted a new hold over RZ350 that spring but I knew the cabin would be worth 10 times the tail in the long run money was not even a thought back then

Agree, too many people plan for tomorrow and don't make it. You'll do what you have to do. Wealth can be measured in so many ways.

Well I'll leak the news... I'm stuck between 6 and 800 and white or black hood. Black tunnel and black rails on both. This will be a standard rmk 155 not a pro.

What did you get Willey?

I really like the look of the black rails! They give you lots of options on the RMK's.

Big fan of the white hood. I really liked the white hood/blue graphics that came out a year or so back. Might have only been on the 600.

Isn't there a bunch of perks thrown in on the PRO this spring? Seems like it made it almost silly not to get it.

Congrats Willey - great sled!

Why not the Pro Indy? You have to think about resale value.

Mark, you can order a standard rmk pretty much speced out the same as a pro! Walker shocks, graphics, pro taper bars, all the free bags. Std rmk gets you the front cooler which is nice for the guy who runs trails a bit.

You loose the belt drive and carbon overstructure as well as the bonded a-arms.

That makes perfect sense for Indy although he seems to be running less and less on trail! You have to love all the options you have with Snow Checking an RMK. Very nice!

Thanks for pointing this out. This is the deal I was thinking of.

Pretty funny – this morning I was showing my wife the video of the Voyageur and explaining that it would be the ultimate ice fishing machine. She says “I think we need one”. Well, that came out of left field.

I’m betting I could get into a 550 fan/155 for right around 7K. It wouldn’t be fast but it would haul a lot of fish. The wheels are turning now. I’ll be checking them out at the show in 2 weeks.

On an unrelated note, time to do my taxes.

What day are you going to the show Kelly? rp7x and I will be there the last half of Saturday to miss the big crowds.

And I think there will be big crowds, with the kind of snow year we've had. Most likely will be out Saturday afternoon as well. If I'm out there then, I give you a call.

You do NOT lose the bonded a-arms, you get that on std. snow check RMK. The belt drive and carbon fiber overstructure tubes you do lose, which both scared me a little bit anyways. You can get the walkers that usually come on Pro's, or the Walker Clicker's that come on the assault with the std. snowcheck rmk. The one thing that has me leaning 8 is the resale value. Another reason I like the idea of snowcheck this year is I know next will have the new H.O. Motor but it has an electronic oil pump, which scares me because Joe schmo won't be able to turn it up. I bought my 08 RMK and I like it and all (after rebuilding it of course :) ) but I still find myself on craigslist every day looking for a Pro... I feel I'm going to drop about $1000-1500 in upgrades/accessories this fall on it so might as well try and get rid of it and just get a new one and be done with it!
