What gear do you like best

Glad to see this isn't a Klim love fest. After reading the OP's message I would have bet it would be. I do have Klim boots, gloves and Tekvest, but also feel there is some other nice stuff out there. I also use a lot of skier/mountaineer branded equipment for baselayer, etc. I have not found a better product than Patagonia for baselayer...I know they support things I don't, but who doesn't!

BRP Helium/TOBE Jacket
Looking for a new set of pants...currently have TOBE(great stuff...no longer imported)
Klim Tekvest
Klim Boots
Klim/Bonfire Gloves
Fly F2
509/Spy/Scott Goggles
Patagonia/Mt. Hardware/UA/Northface/Columbia Baselayer
True Adventure Gear Pac
BCA AVY gear

So I did bring in FXR cold cross jackets this year along with some of there hat’s and gloves. I have castle price point gloves. I should look into the 509’s I brought in some Dragons, Scotts and 100% for goggles. Klim aggressor for base layer and it’s awesome.
Does every one have a favorite HMK boot and did any one try the dragon goggles out and how are they?
I dont like the HMK boots but I am not a fan of any sno-x boot.

Found my Thunder SnowII Trukkes, guess I need to bring them out of retirement. Good boot. Tried on some HMK, klim and Baffin boots today at Babbitts today, not sure what all the rave is for $200 boots, felt very stiff like ski boots.

I'm a big fan of my FXR gear. Highly recommended. Would love to see more dealers carrying this. Also would love to see some baselayer stuff.

Based on everybody's advice, I just bought a Fly Carbon F2 helment, 509 Sinister goggles, and Motofist gloves. I was in the market for this stuff anyways. I hope you guys no what you are talking about ;)

I have Klim Klimate gloves, Motorfist Superior Jacket & Pants, Klim Adrenaline GTX Boots, 509 Evolution helmet, and 509 Sinister Goggles. I thought i'd make a nice guinea pig for the superior stuff. It's their cheaper line and is much of a thicker trail riding style gear but hopefully it works out good. Not too fond of the sleeves for wearing around town but with gloves and gear on they're fine.

Not trying to turn this into a Klim love/hate fest, but I'm interested to hear more about their gloves.

I like the fact that Klim has leather palms on (most) of their gloves. But these prices are insane:
Elite Glove: $229.99
Summit Glove: $145.99
Fusion Glove: $115.99
Togwotee Glove: $99.99

I don't think I paid $229 for my Arctiva jacket!

Are these gloves worth it? Not may reviews for this years models. Reviews on Klim website say the Togwotee gloves are "cold" for extended on trail riding.

Do any other brands offer leather palms???

Oh, and I haven't seen Sorel boots mentioned. My Caribou's have held up pretty good over the past 5+ years.

I am a huge fan of their Togwotee but I rip the liner out use my hand warmers for trail riding but off trail hand warmers are off hands are not cold and they are thin, lite and have a good size gauntlet to keep the snow out. 99% of my riding partners wear this glove and I have my 15 year old daughter in them because I have had the cheap 30 or 40 dollar glove and it is just not worth it. For me this is a perfect mix for a glove but if I was solely trail riding I would step up to a fusion glove. Hope this helps

Welcome to the wonderful world of KLIM. Most KLIM items work very well but you cry a river at the checkout very pricy stuff. Lots of other less expensive software out there that also works. Bought a pair of deep gautlent gloves at food store in BC for $8 figured why not? That pair of gloves is my fav let my bud use them on the trail because his hands were cold & he would not give them back wanted to trade his $150 gloves for them & I would not do it. Price is not always a measurement of what works best for you.:)

I would like to see more red and back plaid wool snow suits, matching choppers, and open face helmets with fixed single lens shields. Optional shields should have a cigar hole in them. :p

You get what you pay for and Klim, Carhart, UnderArmour and the likes know this. Hence the price controls. Love my Townsend boots and Trukke Boots. True Adventure gear gloves for "off Trail" are to die for and Togwotee gloves worth every penny.
