I agree Indy, the past is littered with new models that didn't live up to all of the hype from all manufacturers. I hope it is a home run but until the sleds are in the consumers hands for at least a year I don't get to excited. I do know that living about 50 miles from the Arctic Cat plant and knowing a lot of their former employees in management there is some concern on the future.
you can really say that about any manufacturer though and not just single out Cat, an entirely new chassis unlike anything currently, lay down engine unlike anything currently out there, higher hp 850 than what's out there, new engine technology, lighter weight than anything out there. Might be marketing but its clear innovation and I hope it works for them too because IMO...something to take notice of, now give other manufacturers to out do or improve on. Marketing?? then obviously they have done their homework and their job. IMO
The not being available until 25 MO sucks. However, better late than never, is just going to raise the bar on the all the hype, and anticipation. This really needs to be a huge home run, with the extra wait!
Textron has really limited cat's marketing although it's starting to come back.
I doubt any cat fan will dispute they've been behind at least several years but it seems there's some life back again.
