Just curious what other sledheads carry with them on their sleds? I usually carry more stuff than I need but ideas are welcome. I carry a spare headlamp and tailight bulb, exhaust spring remover with extra spring, a few zip ties, small tool kit, phone , led flashlight, hand held gps, trail marking tape, lighter, plugs, tow rope, glow stick, and a leatherman multipurpose tool, and 2 energy bars and some water. Oops almost forgot, hat and cool guy glasses.

Shovel, snow bungee, a few tools, snacks, zip ties, duct tape, a few matches/paper, GPS and few misc things in the back pack. No storage on my sled, have to keep it light. Sometimes lunch depending on were we are. Hot dog cooker works great.

Where do you sit after all that stuff is loaded? JK

Good list though, seems like you got everything covered!

Also: a couple ratchet straps, dry gloves, extra goggles and X2 on the duct tape.

Just a bit more than I carry when out west. How can that be? I scale it back considerably when boondocking the UP. Big difference between the mountains and the northwoods IMO.

For me it depends on what we are doing. Day trips from the house, all I take is the basics, belt, plugs, tow rope, and a small tool kit. Longer cross country rides add a lot more stuff including extra set of carbides, bigger tool kit, extra suspension bolts, wire, extra oil and gas, lastly a good map. Oh, I almost forgot I usually take along my wife.

You guys gave me a hard time last year because I carried a lot of stuff. My list has grown since. I do know I was never too worried about sleeping in the woods last year. Were you? I leave it all in there for peace of mind. I'd rather have it than not. I rode last year without my backpack and honestly felt naked.

It all fits nicely in my Storm Pack

Storage box on top of belt gaurd is where I keep all the just in case stuff and the huge windshield bag is where I keep stuff I need to get to quick. I knew I was going to forget stuff. Thanks, this weekend I will add a camera and almost forgot the first aid kit.
