Phone. GPS loaded with map of area to be ridden. Stock tool kit. Ratchet strap with extra straps. Matches. Extra relay for starter. Black Duct Tape. Cord to charge Phone. Cord to power GPS. Candy bars for diabetic friends who always forget to bring candy. Water. Thats about it. No more room on Apex.

All Polaris guys need to haul extra exhaust springs. I am always replacing. Found to run a bead of silicone down the side of them and the hook part lasts longer.

last year I rode with Skylar and JD. I had a rear bag on my sled with the stuff in it I was using for private trail brushing. I left the bag open accidentally and rode off. I look back and nobody is behind me. I see them way back stopping picking up things like a rubber mallet, cooping saw, snips, I cannot remember what else but is was funny to see all this stuff, socks, gloves. Moral of the story, close your bags before riding off or you might be spreading tampons all over the trails.

Something I found that comes in handy and was needed a few times out on the trails was WIRE CUTTERS. when those belts break at 90+ and your speedo cable gets caught and wrapped around your clutch, not a fun time.

Have tank bag with maps of riding area, extra gloves. flash light with duct tape wraped around it, multi tool, zip ties and other stuff depending on riding conditions and area riding.

in your first aid kits make sure they have a mouth to mouth mask in case you come to some one who requires it and you know how to give cpr. so you dont have to make direct skin contact with them. But otherwise some very good list,a heat blanket is priceless for some one in shock out there in the cold so that everyone doesnt have to give up thier jackets to slow down shock.duct tape and sticks work well for splints.a syphon tube can be pretty important also, Ride safe

I always bring Gatorade with me, and a tow strap just in case someone's sled breaks down. The stock Cat tool kits are pretty good, so for tools I feel fine. Maybe I wont carry anything else and just make sure Cuzz is within cell phone range in case of any incidents!

what stuff do you carry

Interesting: We no longer ride. Sold out 3 years ago. Rode for about 20 years.

As I thought it would be important to carry some ropes I made something that THANK GOODNESS I NEVER NEEDED.

In each sled I had a 50ft coil of nylon rope. On one end I had taken a rubber baseball and drilled a hole through it and ran the rope through with a knot.

Purpose: If ever someone went through the ice you could throw them the rope from 50ft away from the hole.

Had to carry rope anyway.

I try to rely on others in my group to bring everything I would need so I can ride lite.

So remember...find people like Patches (cuzzinolaf) and you will never have to carry anything.
