I picked up a 2021 Ski Doo MXZ XRS with a brand new 850 engine in it last year. Got about 200 miles in riding fields and such so its basically a new sled...to me at least.

Same sled for several years. last Year I made some adjustments to my shocks (My son's and mine) and never had a chance to compare the ride to the previous year.

But for me this will be the year I take out my restored 1983 Yamaha SS440. Been looking forward to that for the last several years and never got to it. Now it's a priority. Can't wait

2024 Skidoo MXZ Blizzard 850 137”

Probably more excited to see my little dude turn 12 in December and ride his new to him 2015 Skidoo MXZ Sport 600 Ace on the trails by himself!
Know that feeling! my son has been riding since he was 3, when he turned 12 I told him if he passed the safety course I would give him my ZRT800, had no doubt he would pass through observation and he did, Happy for you and your son indy, been there and done that! GOOD TIMES!

My dad grabbed a new sled around 1995 and handed a 1990 indy 500 to me at 10years old and said have fun!!
But he also had me drive his truck towing a bass boat at 14years old while he slept in the passenger seat. I think it helped me take responsibility at a younger age....too many kids get treated like kids for too long... especially boys

2019 Renegade 900T XRS. Just shy of 10k miles despite back surgery (Dr banned me from sledding for complete season) and last year only getting one ride in (850 miles).

I clanged out a whole bunch of coin on a new 858 RXC for the next season.
The interesting part of the thread title is "Riding and Winter". I sure hope the season isn't like last winter. Riding was a challenge. It was more like riding for about one week vs. all winter.
@gary_in_neenah , I like the thread. My own version is more like. "What are you hoping to ride this winter?" ;)

I'm stocked up on carbides and misc. parts in case the snow chase is a challenge.
