If you had no restrictions for buying a new sled this year, i.e. the old sleds are sold and you have the cash, would you buy a new one now or hold out the season and spring order a sled?

What will you do all winter if you don't buy one now? I'd pull the trigger and get one now!

Hearse with a trailer hitch, well, guess there has been at least one.

As long as you can find the sled you want might as well do it. Not like you save bunch snowchecking.
Me I'm still doing saving part, so hope to order one in spring.

I would buy a sled whenever the price is the best. About the only snow check gets you is colors or extended warranty. I don't care much about colors(as long as it doesn't look like a McDonald's machine) and I could care even less about warranties.
IMO best time to buy is late winter early spring. But if money is not an issue, then just buy one already. People are already tearing up the trails!! Legally of course...

LOL! It's a song, I hate country music, but whenever that song comes on I always get a chuckle out of it. I saved a bunch snowchecking but I believe that was only because Polaris wanted to empty their warehouses of pro ride RMK parts assuming there will be a new chassis and/or motor next year.

No way no how would I buy a new sled now or in the spring. I think every one should stop snowmobiling right now. No more tearing up the trails before they are open. Everyone stay home until after I get to ride my new Viper...............Just kidding guys, I'd buy now, couldn't go a whole season without riding!!!

Neither I would buy a noncurrent or a used creampuff from Pat's.
I like the idea but my last four sleds have been 3 noncurrent and 1 used. While noncurrents have done fairly well for me when selling them, I leaning towards giving myself something extra by buy a new current one.

What would I do? First I would reconstruct the question. Just go get the dang sled. You don't need our permission.
If you have to ask...then you can't afford. You decide that.

guys who snowchecked got the cooler colors and nav. gage but some are still waiting for delivery while I picked mine up last friday, a couple weeks after
putting the down payment on a nicely discounted sled.
