Snowing like mad here and best conditions of the year no one around. Trails are like highways and the snow is up to your chin in the woods. All the powder you could ever want!!! I suppose everyone has used up their vacation but in these conditions I would be finding a way to get sick real fast. Hope to see some sledder's soon:)

I was in Mercer last week and over the weekend and we said the same thing. Best trails of the year and no traffic. It was nice to ride anywhere you wanted and not hit bad trails. This weekend should be better yet!

I don't know about the rest of them but I was out riding........and the rain/slush/sleet certainly didn't do us any favors in the central U.P.......trails were absolutely like concrete......relatively smooth but hard as all get out......

Just got back sunday from twin lakes, and it was quiet all weekend. I think I saw more groomers than sleds LOL.

lack of money and time.:mad:If I could ride from my door step or short trailer trip I would after work.:eek:
Or retired would be even better, then time wouldn't matter.
Glad you can enjoy the great trails this time of the year, put a few extra on for me.:)

Coming up Sunday through Thursday. Wish I could be there earlier, but scrambled to make next week work. Sounds like the conditions will hold good as the forecast is looking to be cooler than originally predicted, and more snow on the way.

Heading up Thursday night to ride from Watersmeet on friday. Hope to hit Ishpeming, up through Big Bay and Huron Mtns and back to the casino by Saturday night. North of Ishpeming, 20 inches in 48 hours and 52" on the ground!! Epic!

I hear ya there. my primary clutch is sitting at Gruett's getting rebuilt (1200 miles of cornfields was just too much for it) and hopefully it too is ready on friday.

was ridding in your area sat and sunday - and you are correct best ridding on 13 on and off trail - we all gassed up at Pat's Yam in Greenland - Nice to know there is always good eth free gas available in Greenland - keep up the good work

Snowing like mad here now! It has been snowing day and night for 2 days here in Ironwood. and now they just up'd the advisory to a Lake Effect Warning. The trails are empty and nice!

I need to find new riding buddies. Spent last two nights trying to get someone to go. Excuses are: no money, I only want to go for a day or 2, can't get off work, and no sled.

Just got back from a week in Wyoming, I need to spend a weekend at home, but I am sending out subtle hints as in, HOLY WAH, LOOK AT THE SNOW AT KRUPPS!!! As I show her the webcam picure LOL. She just rolled her eyes.

Oh yea, i am DROOLING right now thinking of all the freshies in da woods!!!
