I agree with most, proof is in the pudding. A friend ordered an AXYS, so no doubt ill be getting some seat time on one next year and get to compare to 2015 doo. We will see how it measures up to a proven ride. Just never thought I would see the beaver tail look ever again. Not very easy on the eyes but if it works people will forget about it.

No point for me in considering a 2s & don't think Yamaha is the only 4s offering to the market....lol... I'm around 3500 miles this season & could have ridden much more 2s just not going to hack it for me or many others. Ace does not apeal to me but many others buying it & liking it. Light 4s is the future where engines are of little concern to trail riders. 2s to me fine if you only ride a 1000 miles a year & then buy a new one but just won't work for me trade in value would be nil in 2 years. Sleds cost too much to be buying every year or 2.

Thats an interesting topic......buddy just traded a 13MXZX 600(Bought new) for 8K and bought a 15MXZX 600 for 10,700OTD....thats only 2700 for 2 years or 1350 a year. Not bad IMO. Sled had 3k miles.....I sold my 2011 MXZX 800 for 7800 the other day, sled is 4 years old now. Nil for trade? What u talkin bout willis, i mean whitedust

Nevermind..the runon sentance i didnt follow at first I get it now. Your miles prevent you from 2s and with a ton of miles on 2s they arent worth much. makes sense now

Really? We've never heard that a 4s is the only thing for you. Good new info here!

I wonder if this was Yamaha or Ski Doo making all this buzz if you guys would be so negative about it? I don't think so.

Then I'd have to say the results are inconclusive :)

I don't have cable anymore so I don't watch that anymore - they normally seem to be very careful to pick at least one sled from each brand for their best-of ratings.

Meisha was definitely the best part of the show! I had posted about this change several months ago and still have these pics. The new girl is a big step backwards IMO. Much like the new AXYS chassis. ;)

You can catch Meisha once in a while on Channel 9's morning show. She fills in for the traffic girl once in a while. She should get the job full time!!

It isn't Poo doing the song and dance, it's the media, it's individuals on Hardcoresledder.com that got to test ride it in January etc. But I forgot, the media is doing this only to help Poo sell more sleds. They never have been excited about or given good reviews to any other of the OEM's. Their doing it to sell advertising. Is Poo the only one that advertises with them? LOL

Wasnt even talking about hardcoresledder. Just the video poo released. On how great it is, maybe it is....but at the end of the video when the guy said the past 4 years the industry has been chasing the rush in the handling department and now they raised the bar higher. I just laughed. I will get to see first hand next year how great it really is. In a striaght line and on the trail. If its that good, they will alll get better. I know at least doo and prolly others have stuff waiting to be released...when the time is right.

If wanting 4s over 2s is negative to ya then ok I'm negative.lol All my comments have been that I have to sit on AXYS see if it works for me & I don't respond to hype from any OEM I make up my own mind after I touch & feel see if right for me?
To your other media hype video, mags,TV whatever Poo contacts media assigns resources to accomodate media see what they can do to get the word out of their choosing its all marketing you should now that. You seem to be drinking the cool aide that this AXYS is some kind of break thru & all it is is a refined Rush with some composite support structure that makes the platform lighter. I mean what the heck?... we have all seen this platform for years this is not new stuff... redesigned & improved... Yes....that is all .....What am I missing?

oh come Mark, don't drink the cool aid so ferociously,,,lol it's not healthy. You gonna telll me because there are reports that this sled is the best that we all should just believe it. I make that kind of decision when I, me, myslef come to that conclusion. I could give a rats tail about all the pre hype. Until the machine is on the trail for a year than you can gloat but till than it's only hype. I'll tell you what, when the machine is in production you get one and I'll best you some serious money I could run the 13 loop on a yamaha 4s 10 minutes faster than you can on a axys. Lets keep this real, this sled is still a 2s that's gonna need a $1500 minimum rebuild in 5000 miles, that is if it don't catch fire.

If I remember correctly, poo tried the 4s turbo thingy,,,lol and it was a joke. Within the last five years poo has had 1 of their only two motors considered highly questionable and in strong scrutiny. So, before we all just jump ship and buy the latest and greatest from the best friggin sled maker in the world, lets see how it does when the public owns it, when dealers set it up incorrectly and people complain like it will happen. Lets see the actual production sled and not the proto type that is tweeked by poo so these bobble heads can salivate over. Do you really think that when the sled is available to the public it will be exactly the same and set up the same?

Your brand loyalty is really shinning through on this thread and it's kinda creepy but your still an awesome guy and I love ya!

they all sing the song. No doubt poo makes some great stuff just like all the man's. It's just getting out of control when stressing this is the best stuff ever. I seen where they say the headlights are the brightest and it's about friggin time. In 03 Yamaha had some serious bright lights and were always bright even at idle when the others were dim when low RPM;s but now poo has the brightest, probably BS.

Attak man: How many Polaris riders would jump on a 120-130 HP 4 stroke that got 18-20 MPG...that weighed around 500 lbs??? .[/QUOTE said:
All over it! Without a doubt that's the ticket, reliable 4S motor in a great proven chassis that's adjustable, at around 500 lbs, preferably just under. I'm on it and never go back.
But 600 lbs dry?? No matter what anybody says YOU DO feel that weight, whether it's putting on a trailer, putting on dolly's to get in garage, or pulling out of a snow bank. That 100 lbs. is real. Unless of course you NEVER ride anything else, then the weight's a non-issue because you have nothing to compare to.

well I can tell U who is giving away the most parts at the track who is giving the most models for testing in the last 2 yrs. and that is a good thing. just have 2 see it for what it is . I am sure the axis is a fine trail sled. the rush was a fine trail sled also but I have put on some real time on a 136 and 121 rush and never felt what the hype was all about. IMHO and MN I love to see any MN manufactured product do well. when they do well a lot of my friends in the industry do well.

Not sure any off trail sled will do circles around the tundra extreme... that thing looks like it will go anywhere.

Should be an interesting 2015 cant wait to see how it all pans out. Is it december yet?

it may go through deep snow with mild grade but get into moderate terrain and she's an anchore

Man you are UBBER sensitive.....when it comes to your "beloved polaris"....jeeze...lol As several other people (and myself) have pointed out...WE HAVE SEEN THIS HYPE BEFORE!!!! Remember that sled called a ......RUSH...wasn't that the best handling, best riding...lightest sled in the biz???? Didn't the media jump all over the rush and hype it up too...and then by the following january all of it's warts were showing...and many non flattering reviews followed... Didn't it take them 3 full seasons to get them dialed in???......and now the axys shows up (a refined RUSH with a new name)...and we should just "shut up and go read a magazine"??? ...or watch a video that POLARIS made to promote it...and just believe the hype?? YOU ARE JOKING RIGHT???? LOL......I will use your own words...."if this was a Yamaha or a ski-doo making all this buzz would you be so negative"??? DID U REALLY JUST ASK THAT QUESTION??? If it was a Yamaha...this board with light up for 30 days, and hundreds of pages with polargoons piling on....LOL...and you know it.

Thanks Lenny,

I wasn't baking on the tundra. It's a good sled and it stands the test of time. I just wanted to point out that the new Voyager will out handle the tundra. If they put the tundra motor in a summit like chassis it would be better I guess is the best way to put it. I should explain myself better:) This thread is pretty testy by the way:) It makes it fun though!!!!
