I think a big reason why so many dislike Yamaha is because when their own sled blows up it's always a Yamaha to the rescue. Yamaha tows the rubbish to the landfill, Yamaha tows the debris to the trucks, Yamaha tows the 2s rider to the bar so they can forget about it for a while and Yamaha just keeps on keepin on,,,,all this from me who doesn't even own a Yamaha 4s. Don't hate me because I am a wise man, just send a gift and keep quiet!

there is market share and then there is trail share....for being no. 4 in sales, they sure do show up a lot on the trails. I'd say that behind ski-doo rentals, Yamaha sleds, mostly 4 strokes, are number one in being ridden.

I think a lot of that is regional. Might be true where you mostly ride, but I can't say it's true where I mostly ride. And I'd be willing to bet that it's different in different parts of the country. Regardless of brands.

Love the quote on some should join you:) That was funny! Lenny, you're funny! Ah, it's not out of control, it's all in good fun!!! Keeps things entertaining and super exciting!! By they way, Yamaha's are the lightest sleds on the market:) Now that right there's funny, I don't care who ya are!!! Mike, you were correct, but heck mike, mark, what's the diff. you're both funny!!

I don't have a horse in this race but wish everyone the best with what they are riding. If this is helping the Polaris riders good for you.
I started out with Polaris and had great experience with the sleds 1998 to 2004. Now you know the origination of the first part of my screen name.

That being said my wife switched to Ski Doo's in 2004 amd me in 2005 the rev was a game changer for my wife and the 2004 GSX 500 ss lasted until last year (14,000 miles) traded in for non current 2012 600 ACE (4 stroke) tnt. This year I traded in 600 etec Renengade for the 900 ACE tnt. I don't think either of us will be in the market for a new sled anytime soon. Cheers

Seems like if Poo wanted to get back to #1, they should come up with a powerline king or a Twin Lakes king. Their marketing department seems to have it all wrong calling these sleds Rocky Mountain Kings when they're all used at 2,000 ft in Michigan!

They are gona have to come out with the Swampy Water King after watching sons of guns last night. Anyone else see that? They mounted machine guns to a brand new indy 600 in lousiana lol....on wheels with a custom radaitor so the sled didnt over heat in 2 minutes....
