I liked Boston, VanHalen, Styx, Meatloaf, Queen, Journey, Molly Hatchet, Kiss, Beatles, Kansas, The Who, lots of good bands and lots of one hit wonders. I biased but it seemed to be the best time for Rock n Roll

I have been to allot of shows in my day including over 50 dead shows saw a ton of great classics open for them.but the most entertaining show has got to be when the beastie boys opened for madonna in like 86 st paul civic center that was a party show split for the material girl and guess who was drinking at the Irish bar down the block.I think tix back then were about 40bucks

Allman Brothers, or anything with Warren Haynes (love Goverment Mule). From the 80's only band I still really like is Tesla.

"Classic"...Tom Petty is not. Van Halen with DLR is. Scorpions are, and so is Tesla. Before 1990 is a large gap...if you like 80's and performance...Firehouse puts on a good show. Great White, Jack Russell cannot sing anymore, the same with Stephen Pearcy from "Ratt." Queensryche is still good, but not classic. If you are gonna put a date on it, ignore Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters, but don't, he was the only talent in Nirvana. Pink Floyd, the Who, Foreigner, Zeppelin, Boston, enjoy what you hear on the radio, cuz you aren't gonna hear anything like that in your lifetime again...

AC/DC and Def Leppard. Have seen them both and they both put on a good show. We were about 15 feet from stage at the Def Leppard show, at the time they had an awesome light show. At the AC/DC show you should have been able to get high just being in the building.
