2 tires worn bad and 2 not worn bad tells me they have not been rotateing them like they have been telling you they are.You may also want to check and see if they are greaseing things as they are suppose to be,,odds are they are not..Ball joints will be going out next as will tie rod ends and drag link.

How do you know that the Poo riding tire rotator guy just didn't switch your tires out with his worn out Wranglers??? hummm? I would check to make sure the motor is the actual one you purchased with the truck ?????? Never know who you pissed off at the dealership. (just a thought). lol

^^LOL^^

Reminds me of a new delivery truck our company got many years ago. Had 4 barrel 350, sure was an upgrade from the little 6 bangers. Our Driver at the time was an 18 year old. Had to get two new tires at 3000 miles. He had some explaining to do!!

well I have not been back to dealer yet. prob next week .
my next tire will be load range D .
and have a long tread warr.
this truck is 7 mo old with almost 15k tread life is important.
me and the dealer will be arguing next week at the 15k check up.
it is a good thing I drive by them every day so when they blow me off I can stop in every day or so to share my story with any one looking at new trucks.
they may not know it yet but they will be buying this pit bull a new set of tread.
I figure at 1200 or so for tred I can put 20hrs in to the project before I am loosing money on the deal

If you have a limited slip rear axle you could see greater wear on the rear tires. They probably spin more often than you think.

Goodyears are junk. Period.
If you want a tire that lasts and has as good if not better traction than the Wranglers buy a set of Michelin AT-2's. I just replaced a set of these on my work truck and they had 115,000 miles on them and still had 5/16'' tread left.(no burnouts) They are not cheap though, 275/75/18 were 330.00 each. You get what you pay for. I don't even look at other brands of tires.
Also don't buy tires at Walmart or any outlet like that. The manufacturer always sends them the blems and seconds. They always take a ton of weight to balance them. I only go to Discount Tire. They sell more Michelins than anyone.

I'm running Michelin LTX a/t2 285 75 r16, on a half ton and they ride great. Paid 250$ each and they are the very few that give a tread wrnty,on a a/t.

Go look at a new truck (same\similar) and see what the tread depth was new. When I was shopping for new set of G Y I noticed differences in starting\new tread depths and therefore costs of tires. Factory set of G Y on the '96 Chev. went 65,000 and probably had 10K left in them but tie-rods caused feathering wore-funny\vibrated so was time for a new set. That was 50\50 towing\driving unloaded and driving it easy.

Are your current tires load range C? If so that could partially explain the wear. I have load range E's on my truck.

I need M/T like a hole in the head they look cool. my big issue with tires is load rage and how long they last and no howl going down the road.had enough of that in my younger days when gas was cheep and the alpine expensive and loud and tuned with a eq .
I have chains for when in bad situation in the hills.
