Time for some summer threads! I purchased a cool garbage can for our kitchen that keeps the pets out and the smell and looks good. The can is made by a company ,"simple human" and can be purchased at bed bath and beyond. It is stainless steel, holds a 13 gallon bag in a neat plastic liner that is removed when you change bags. The top is open by a foot pedal and closes when you let off. I purchased this can over 8 years ago for about $60.00 and I am in the hunt for another for the cabin. There are cheaper brands but I would stick with the real deal!

WOW! Can't top the garbage can but, so far, I have bought a new trailer, truck and bad azz sound system to go in it. Oh, and some new 509 Evolution sunglasses from SledSlolutions.

We enjoy scouting around at Thrift Stores and have found many unique and different things that, with a little imagination, can be cool.

Terariums. I'm surprised some have never heard or know what it is ?

Check them out. They are way cool.

Oh, I also bought a new lawn tractor, got a dog and have yellow grass!

I'm also trying to get a free Summer Sucks sticker out of Paul for buying his father-in-laws truck. :)

Wow Dave, thank you for boosting the economy. The glasses are way cool too!

Spot GPS

I bought the Spot GPS Satellite Tracker. It's a small device with which you can send a message to a designated person to let them know that you are ok and gives them an email and/or a text message with a link to a google map that shows them exactly where you are.

http://www.findmespot.com/en/

It also has an SOS function button that will send a message to emergency services to come and get you if you have an emergency, once again giving them your exact location. Being satellite based, it works anywhere on the planet, especially nice when there is no cell phone service.

I do a lot of sledding and motorcycling alone and in some pretty remote places so I can let my wife know that I'm doing fine on a periodic basis. Thankfully, I've never had to use the SOS function and hope I never will. It gives me and my wife a lot of peace of mind.

Oh, and when you don't want your wife to know exactly where you are......just don't hit the OK button.

Did you have that when we rode together?

Well I had to go and buy something so I can post it. Bought a Reese type hitch for my wifes motorcyclefrom a guy in Manitoba, Canada. He custom makes them for Kawasaki Vulcan 900 LT's. Then 8 bought her an all aluminum trailer from a guy in Georgia is she can haul the dogs around in it. 3 compartments, 2 for the dogs, 1 for clothes or groceries. It is painted to match the bike. Also has a cooler on the front and a cover. The hitch instructions are in english but with no pictures,so it may take awhile to install. File is to large for phone to show pics.
