I don't think it will but a yr or 2 before switchable ABS will become a option and prob standard on the rental lines. it is really not much extra cash on the bikes now

Been hearing ppl talk about abs on sleds and really don't see the advantage unlike a car where the front brakes =70% stopping power and abs let's you steer while in a panic stop. Sleds don't have ski brakes.

Fly by wire on all sleds, heads up display in helmet, electronics package similar to the HD rushmore project, shock adjustment on fly,.............on the flip, a new 160 hp gutted no thrills sled under 400 lb, price around $7000.

but u cant do e start on the Dzr . I have 2 buds with the timber on the dzr . may not sound like much but not ez to kick over after picking up in deep pow . climbing on then trying to kick . u can do it but it pretty much sucks.
my fav of all the bikes I have been on in the snow was a old mans ktm 300exc

Not saying that is the ideal setup, just one that is streetable, could ride trails, and then rip snow. Seems like year round fun to me!

Grub, to answer your original question; TeamFast.com, M-20 (Airwave) rear suspension with air compressor & remote toggle switch does what you are looking for. Get the Assault ski air shocks and divetek kit, and you have full ride height/ preload control, with the air compressor, on the fly. M-20 has been available since 2007, and works AWESOME! Check out "The Perfect Sled?" story in SnowTech this season. I'm thinking we are going to see automatic adaptive suspension in the future. Ski-Doo's SHOT starting system is genious, like RER. Like you said, the new tech is pretty sweet!

Hate to say it or see it but I'm afraid Ezra is correct. It may take quite a while but virtual reality will probably replace most high risk activities. Sad.

Yep you see those virtual reality commercials and you have to shake your head.

Yea, all that but just the opposite .
Instead of the tail wagging the dog, a convertible sled/bike/ "Spyder" from a blank sheet of paper.

Side x side...convertible for multi season use....might even be one the works if someone were to spend some time doing a patent search...or maybe not...guess we will see!

I don't think drz is how you spell Husqvarna FX 450 :)

the husky/timber I ride with has not been stellar to say the least . on2nd yr and it is now taken back down to dirt for spring sale .

I like them on the bikes . just full pull and no issues even in dam. on sleds when the track locks is takes much further to stop because of the snow acting as a toboggan . that is a fact now I like to have the ability to lock it up and slide but can deff see the advantage when putting some one on a sled with limited experience
