No talk of new sled offerings?

It is easy to turn off and it stays off permanently
It's a gimmick. In the old days, like in 2026, you'd hit your kill switch, chat for a minute, and then pull it up and push the start button. Now you hold the brake after you stop for a period of time. I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Same function.

Unnecessary function adds complexity and cost and what if it can’t be shut off permanently? Then it’s a pita same as auto industry that just went away by law in USA. Must have international implications is my guess.

This... The polaris 650 is an amazng sled and one that I am seriously considering. Ski doo could have matched or beat polaris in that market. I have a ski doo 850 mxz xrs, great sled and no complaints. But, I can rip a 650 in the trails almost as fast as my 850 ski doo, although the ski doo throttle response is just better. I could care less of top end lake racing, my grandma can ride fast in a straight line....who cant do that. But, I can pick up a lightly used 650 for $11,000 instead of the steep xrs price. And, although polaris electric start sounds like a kindergartner with marbels made it, it still has a pull start unlike my ski doo...and yeah, that was a lot of fun wrapping the cord around the clutch at Omars (yeah i use old names) in 40 MPH wind and cold. The 650 market is where its at cause lets be serious, 98% of all seldders dont come close to maximizing the power and potential of their sleds....more show, than go...Guess I will wait again til next year.
I've got 3k miles on my 650 now and absolutely love it!

When I see stuff like this, it makes me rethink even considering buying a new sled.... unfortunately.

Agree ….US customers NOT asking for it so need justification as to Why??? Gas use can’t be part of ROI not worth calculating. In my younger days I was known for fast and off. 😆

I agree with the 650 Polaris, 3100 miles on a 2026 Indy Adventure and not one hiccup this year, with the Vintage Ride in Twin Lakes next weekend I should get close to 4000 miles this year.

One thing I have noticed is the prices are still a little out there. When I was looking at the 600 Catalyst, optioned out as I want it, it was $17k! For a 600! I wouldnt even mind the New Jag for around $10k but I just think it might be on the small side compared to what I'm used to. I actually considered a new SkiDoo 600, seen them around $10k and seem to have good reviews.

Then after I ponder all this, reality sets in and I drop it. Probably no way I'm going to drop this much coin on a sled. It's not like years ago when I would do north of 3k miles per season. Now if I do 1k, I'm ok with it. I dont know, maybe I'll dream about it some more.

I like that the Jag is back in the line up but, it is only a single cylinder motor, not too sure I like that but to each his own.

I think everyone should buy whatever sled they want; it's a free country. However, I might just be getting old and living in the past but it seems to me that a lot of the sleds made today are just too much. I mean, you dont need a $20k sled to ride and have a good time, JMO. Sure, turbo sleds have their place (and I had one...had) but for 95% of riding, overkill, but again, free country. I have been passed completely worn out and rough trails by "young kids" like I was standing still. Sure, maybe the sleds can do it but that doesn't seem fun to me. I used to ride air cooled machines all the time and had just as much fun as other guys. I know... living in the past.

I think the Jag is a good concept. I have heard the engine is pretty good but I think the optics of a single throw people off. A 400 or 440 twin would get a lot more attention.

I'm 69 years old, The Ski Doo 900 Ace that I have has pretty much everything that I could imagine on it and then some. I started riding on a Ski-doo that Skiroule probably has in his museum right now. Exhaust came right out of motor/carb right in front of you, A long trip was 10 miles and hopefully you didn't break down. I'll be riding my Ski-doo 900 Ace right into the ground and it will be my last sled most likely.
