No talk of new sled offerings?

It is easy to turn off and it stays off permanently
It's a gimmick. In the old days, like in 2026, you'd hit your kill switch, chat for a minute, and then pull it up and push the start button. Now you hold the brake after you stop for a period of time. I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Same function.

Unnecessary function adds complexity and cost and what if it can’t be shut off permanently? Then it’s a pita same as auto industry that just went away by law in USA. Must have international implications is my guess.

This... The polaris 650 is an amazng sled and one that I am seriously considering. Ski doo could have matched or beat polaris in that market. I have a ski doo 850 mxz xrs, great sled and no complaints. But, I can rip a 650 in the trails almost as fast as my 850 ski doo, although the ski doo throttle response is just better. I could care less of top end lake racing, my grandma can ride fast in a straight line....who cant do that. But, I can pick up a lightly used 650 for $11,000 instead of the steep xrs price. And, although polaris electric start sounds like a kindergartner with marbels made it, it still has a pull start unlike my ski doo...and yeah, that was a lot of fun wrapping the cord around the clutch at Omars (yeah i use old names) in 40 MPH wind and cold. The 650 market is where its at cause lets be serious, 98% of all seldders dont come close to maximizing the power and potential of their sleds....more show, than go...Guess I will wait again til next year.
I've got 3k miles on my 650 now and absolutely love it!

When I see stuff like this, it makes me rethink even considering buying a new sled.... unfortunately.

Agree ….US customers NOT asking for it so need justification as to Why??? Gas use can’t be part of ROI not worth calculating. In my younger days I was known for fast and off. 😆
