I meant to update this sooner...but honestly...I've been out riding...and it's excellent out there right now....this is the most miles I've put on in 7 or 8 years. We did get anywhere from 10 to 15 inches of wet snow across the northwoods, and everything is white. Clubs are out and grooming...

Updated...3-12-23...I rode from nokomis to Flambeau yesterday...even took the railroad grades...was shocked how good it was...from Giraffe to the Rock Garden was very good...all white no rocks...I only found two bad spots on the bearskin...one was a muddy, gravel section under highway 51 bridge...

Update 3-10-23.....we got 3 inches over night...good wet heavy snow ( a little over 2 inches in Lac du flambeau, and a little over 3 inches near Lake Nokomis...the heavier stuff 5 to 6 inches was in a line from Medford to Wausau, and even more further south)....AND....MORE SNOW COMING for...

Its starting to be end of season riding conditions....though there is alot of snow in the woods, it doesn't take much sun to turn a trail from good to poor in a matter of hours...we did receive 2 plus inches of snow over night...good wet snow (but nowhere near the 4 to 6 that was forecast), and...

Ended up with over 3 inches ...closer to 4....but while it's cold right now( 21 degrees)...it's mostly sunny, and that sun is not our friend....should be good riding the end of this week, and this weekend...but with temps in the upper 30's both saturday and sunday, and heavy...

It's still lightly snowing here as of 730pm...so far a little over 2 inches of nice wet snow...lots of sleds out today...I will try and get out this weekend...but im working alot...so we'll see...would like to see two more weeks of riding...but that may be pushing it depending on mother nature

The direct sunlight today...is melting snow rapidly on plowed pavement...good thing another 1-3 in the forecast for late tonight into tomorrow..it's scary how quickly it was melting today in the sun. (anything in direct sunlight)

It was Somo lake west of Tomahawk, and he was way off the marked trail....it's an area some locals use ...but I do not...it's never safe

so far.....not much...inch or two and lightly snowing....looking more and more like an over blown forecast...the good thing is there really wasn't much rain/freezing rain up here....a bit of sleet....but mostly snow.....roads suck, and it's wet out there, but no melt down, and added a bit more...

Been waiting to say anything...it's been mostly snow up here with just a bit of freezing rain and sleet....but so far only an inch here....it is lightly snowing here now.....not sure if we will see the 3-5 inches (unless this intensifies)...but it certainly didn't hurt us....should be another...

Maybe so...but Cat seemed to do this to alot of their dealers...it was not a good move...I talked to ERV's and he said he couldn't do what they wanted him to do..they were trying to force too many sleds on him...(they did this to several dealers)..at the time he was selling way more Polaris...

That's why Erv's dumped Cat (at least 10 years ago)...and the oldest Cat dealer in the State of Wisconsin (in Medford), went out of business.

I thought it was an 8 out 10...excellent ride today...only I went west..had lunch at Gordos...and went out to tripoli...then back along 86 to the somo area...beautiful...not a rough trail anywhere....along 8 was bad, as the sun was melting the snow on the side of the road, the Hiawatha, was beat...

You are preaching to the choir....the air ride has to go...it's not a plush ride, the only thing it's good for is on the fly weight/load adjustments (great for riding two up)...the smart ride is the real deal...but not available on the models I would want to purchase
