Received a fresh 4" of LES over night with low temps of -4. Snow was very fine & packed like cement once driven or stepped on. We have the potential for an additional 8 to 12" tonight. I have had enough for a little while, 30" in 4 days and counting.

Awoke to 8+ of fresh LES & was snowing to beat the band from 6a to 9a with temp 8 degrees. I spent the last 3 hours plowing & shoveling just the basic areas & front of the office. Schools in Houghton & Keweenaw Counties have been cancelled. We literally went from fall to winter in 4 days. LES...

Well well well, woke up to 6" of fresh stuff and a whopping 11 degrees. I'm not sure when it fell, but it's here. Now I have to go out & tighten some bolts on the sxs plow & get at it again.

An additional 1 1/2 - 2" of snowfall overnight. Temps stayed in the teens & currently at 17. It looks as though were going to get into the 30's by tomorrow, so we'll see what happens next. I would prefer a wet snow over rain mixed, but, we have no control of mother nature. Fingers crossed.
