So.......I started a project, My new Garage!

I had an interesting yard at my old house that dropped downward into my garage from a farm field. Every buddy that would come over would mention how it must be awful with rain and snow. Was the farthest thing from a problem! Staying optimistic on this one! Nice work so far!

    The Perfect Up North Property

I hear you loud and clear. My first house I bought in 2016 for $130k, sold in 2020 for $225k, bought my second house in 2020 for $350k and could probably sell for close to $450k as it stands. I am fully aware of real estate appreciation. I’m not trying to say owning a 2nd home is a “bad idea”...

    The Perfect Up North Property

While I fully understand the investment perspective, you have to remember there was a timeframe from 2005-2015 where property values didn’t increase much, and although many of us property owners are sitting with a big grin right now (because of the increase in the last few years), I can’t...

    The Perfect Up North Property

Before I blew the profit from selling my old house on two new vehicles, along with end of winter thoughts (every winter) I have often thought about purchasing something up there as well. Don’t need much land, always pictured either old and small that needed a gut and remodel, a manufactured...

    Play Ball

Well, we brought home a 2nd place finish in the Plover tournament! Incredible way to end a 24-5-2 season in arguably one of the toughest tournaments in the state. To come from a town that doesn’t even have a high school, and make a run at the championship in the Plover finale is an incredible...

Well, we came home with another first place trophy in the Shawano tournament this weekend! Went 2-0-1 in pool play (tied against a tough Fond du lac team). Then, Beat De Pere in the first round of bracket and beat Shawano in the semis to ironically face off against Fond du lac again in the...

Understand your view. But like Gary said, it’s the parents decision to travel and spend the money. They don’t have to, and I can tell you every last parent (on our team) WANTS to. The boys on our team are all best friends and love hanging out together like a big family all summer long. We even...

    Play Ball

I wholeheartedly agree. He might be big but he’s a big teddy bear and is definitely an extremely sad 10 yr old when he has to trot down to 1st. Hard to argue with the philosophy though as he is a bit of a liability on the base paths, he’s lucky that he tends to get extra base hits and not...

I coach my boy’s 10u Rec and travel teams here in Greenville (West side suburb of Appleton). Our travel team, the grizzlies, are Currently 15-3-1 on the year with tournaments in Shawano and Plover left to go. He has turned into quite the (not so little) ballplayer! Currently batting .740...

    Lost a member

From what I’m seeing on Facebook, sad to say it looks like we lost a member “snowdance” late Thursday night. Pat had gotten out of snowmobiling a few years back but was still very active on this site and was an avid motorcyclist. I believe he started the 3 old Alaska guys thread and posted...

Sure it wasn’t there and it just disintegrated? I took the axles off my 23’ stealth and por 15’ed them and did new bearings and brakes when I had it a few years back. The trailer was 3 years old at the time and the barrier material was just about nonexistent already from disintegrating away...
