    Munising and East?

Well, they missed out on the last 2 rounds of snowstorms, but from what I see on book face it’s still very rideable. The warm temps today and tomorrow, and the rain tomorrow will suck, but they’re supposed to get hit pretty darn good with Thursday/Fridays storm, so that will change everything.

    Tomahawk update 3-14-23

You’re timing it perfect! Deepest I’ve ever seen it in northern WI in March!! The rain totals are not drastic, with some good snow totals on the backside.

    Old Abe you out there?

Been probably the most active member on this site for the past couple years, all of a sudden went on a 2 week hiatus. Hope all is well!

    Groomer drag set too deep?

Well guys, looks like the conover club was trained to groom the same way ER does. Came onto their trail system from the west on trail 8 from Star Lake/Sayner Barnstormers club. Left their trail system going north towards Lando on 13 into the frosty club trails. It was like a light switch from...

    Those weather folks……

Crazy! We’ve had a decent snow year here but it keeps turning around and melting within a matter of days. Have never had good frost in the ground all year.

2024 Yamaha. Is it going to happen?

Doo came out with rack steering for 24. Has been a pretty quiet topic, but it’s supposed to steer way lighter. I honestly think you might be the only one saying Doo needs to come out with EPS though lol

    Northshore conditions?

Nope! Quite a ways away. Iron river WI got over a foot from yesterdays storm too…

    3/13

My buddy in Sherwood said 6-7 overnight on top of what fell yesterday, storm total of 8-9. Coworker in Harrison said the same. I’m guessing the storm wrapped around and being farther east and closer to the lake, got a little more than me. But, 12.89 does seem a little high lol

    3/13

Another 3-4” on top of the 2-3” that fell by 7pm last night in Greenville WI (NW Appleton). Gotta be getting close to our yearly snowfall record, and of course the trails never opened once…

    3-12

5-6” in St Germain when we left around noon today. About 3” as of now in Greenville (NW of Appleton). Coming down hard right now.

    Northshore conditions?

Indeed, the UP is very spotty right now. This is the worst I’ve ever seen the Keweenaw in 15 years. I’ve only ridden Bayfield county once, but I stayed in Ashland and trailered to Moquah. Don’t really recommend Ashland, it usually gets pretty thin on snow there, and heading 5 miles west of...

Where can one put their money these days as a fair investment?

My local credit union is 4.5-4.75% for 7 and 13 month CDs. Have never done one before but thought about throwing half my savings in there.

    Happy Birthday indy_500 & snowman22

Thanks everyone! Just got back from a small ride to the Sayner pub for dinner, plenty of snow left here in St Germain, and more on the way tomorrow night! Doesn’t get much better than a birthday in the north woods!

    Northshore conditions?

Hoosier, could save yourself an hour and a half driving each way and ride WI south shore. Bayfield county is in phenomenal condition and just keeps getting all the snow this year.

    3/9

3/7 MW, BJ, Presque Isle, Winchester Ride

Fortunately we only have to go a half mile or so west of the whitetail until we hit trail 70 to head north. I do know when you go west of there and the trails crosses hwy 70 south it goes through that logged area that is always bare so we’ll stay away from that

3/7 MW, BJ, Presque Isle, Winchester Ride

Staying at the whitetail on the west side of St G this weekend. Planned to stay away from BJ as that’s usually a mess in warmer temps. Was hoping to run thru Sayner and across plum and Star, then maybe do a trail 6/8 loop west of conover and head back, but nervous how it’ll be trying to get thru...

    How to avoid the roads?

Seeing lots of good reports from the namekagon, clam lake, Drummond area in the last day or 2. Don’t have much experience in that area, just offering what I’ve been reading!

    2022 sucks!

Will do! Believe me, we both wanted another 900 ace, but as most of you know, they’re VERY hard to find. I know it’s end of season and we could’ve likely waited until we found one, or ordered a 24, which we contemplated, but this one was just too cost effective for us to pass up. Would’ve...
