My hopes are the groomers let the sleds pack the new snow down. Otherwise they will wipe a lot of it away and expose more bare spots to let the sun burn it away.

It really depends on my intention with the sled. But I tend to shy away from 2 strokes with over 5k miles. At that point, you need driveline bearings, rear skid attention, and possibly a new track already. Steering starts getting sloppy, clutches need attention, and we haven’t gotten to the fact...

We are comparing ice oval track conditions to a snocross style track… The junkersled races continue to grow every year, awesome to see! Haven’t made it yet but would love to one of these years. Run by a bunch of young local guys who just love sleddin! Maybe some day it will catch enough...

They screwed the trails up real good up that way by not grooming before the rain. Hard to venture away from traffic on MI trails these days.

Man you guys sound too picky. Most local trails opened up down here for the first time and there’s people ripping brand new sleds on 10” of snow with no base across plowed fields.

Best trails I rode all day today were elderon hatley area. I wouldn’t even drive that far to tomahawk up 51 unless you have a place up there.
