it is not if but when it is going to go. best to be ahead of the issue.25 bucks now or a spoiled trip wasted 300 bucks in gas vacation time wasted and that is best case worst is all of the above and a gernaded drive with chunks laying in the belly pan

the only thing I dont like about the BDX bearing is the MADE IN CHINA part but I don't think U have a option now days.and I know they last I did a buds 09 in 10 and it has over 2500 hard mi on it.
I pulled it apart this spring and it was all good

I picked up a SKF bearing for mine. It cost a bit more but it is a US made bearing and good quality.

My issue was my own fault I think. I had it on but it wasn't snug like I expected it to be. I pulled it back off, jacked up the front of the skid a hair, and that is where my problems started.

I have also done more than 12 in the last 2 yrs. they go alot faster after the first 1.I think if I rushed it it could be done in a hr.

A little trick to make installation of the DD easier is to lock the brake before pulling the DD out of the sled. This holds the track driveshaft in place.

then u can buy some new skf bearings for the crank

Never an issue amongst me or my fellow doo riders. Balancing the clutch on doo's goes a long way for the longevity of the crank. "That's not to say doo's haven't had any issues of their own, cause they certainly have."
