Lets see the Yamaha apex se lists for $14,949.
The polaris 800 pro xr list for $11,599.
Do the math the rush is $3,350 less!!!
As far as weight apex rtx weight 560 lb. dry, I know that not a apex se.
The 600 rush was right around 460-470 lb., the 800 probably weights around
20-30 lb. more, thats around 70 lb. difference.
Rush 800 around 490 lb. and thats probably high.

Think Snow!!!

3350 is twice what my sled is worth! lol

I think their sleds look great! I just wish the Switchback was in the new chassis like the RMK is. I want a 4 stroke and the new chassis, but doesn't look like that's gonna happen. I'm leaning towards the Rush 600 LX right now, but may have to decide to wait another year as I love my 4 stroke. I've heard they have a new 4 stroke coming in 2012. What to do?

would be smart to wait and see what they will do. could develop the 4 more, could make a 136 pro ride suspension. either way if you wait you'd get an even more reliable sled if your lookin at the 600. but what do i know i'm just a kid...

I hate to admit it but the Rush 600 LX appeals to me. I ride high miles with the wife and want the wind protection, mirrors and storage along with the suspension. 600 CF is fine for me as long as it gets the MPG's they claim (although DI would sure be a nice improvement). My back isn't the best and the suspension would work well for me.

Hard to admit I am considering going back to a 2S, I have ridden a Yamaha Rage for 4 years. But at 4200 miles it is out in my garage all torn apart getting all new jackshaft and driveshaft bearings as well as all new idlers in the suspension - several of them will barely turn! After having 5 Polaris sleds that were all bulletproof for 8K miles or more, my infatuation with Yamaha is fading fast.

Right now I see leftover 2010 Rush's for $8K+ on the market. I might put my Rage up for sale mid-winter, ride my backup sled until late season and then look for a 600 LX next Feb/Mar when the deals open up - happens every year about this time.

Having said all that, I agree with the other posts about more 4S models...Polaris needs to get more 4S and DI on the market, and fast -

Does anyone know the incentives Polars is offering (i.e. warranties, free electric start, etc.). Having trouble getting into the snowcheck section.

No, I have to agree with Skylar, she's a beauty!! I'm an arctic cat guy, but this sled has my blood flowing. I think I'm going to pass out.

Skylar, that is retail. Nobody pays retail. We need to get a group purchase together. Can we buy sleds thru "Direct Buy" anyone? Or Costco? lol. you never know.

Come on Skylar, let see the ultimate crossover, the Assault 800 144". I think this will be the sled to beat this coming season, if the motor doesn't melt down. I might be a riding a Poo this coming winter.;)

I have the 2010 Switchback Dragon 800 and have not had any problems with the motor! The 800 Assault 144 sure looks like a great crossover sled!

How Much?

Could be they will,...they bought out the co. that builds there 750cc turbo....Weber,...they make a nice grill too

How much did Poo pay for Weber? Will they bring Weber Engines to MN if so 4s sleds could get very interesting from Poo. This is what I have been waiting for a complete Poo 4s package from bumper to bumper. Poo 4s stroke sled line up will broaden now. You don't buy tech & not use it.
