actually poo and doo both are using cats rear skid front arm slid action on there race sleds .

Thanks, but I was referring to the slide rail suspensions and a-arm front suspensions all sleds are using. Used first on a Cat. It is fun how doo-doos think ride forward is so revolutionary, back in the day it was called sit closer to the gas tank when it got bumpy.

I am always amazed at how hard I have to wok to make a doo lay over. but I see guys flick them around with ez .must be yrs of dedication and denial with the willingness/loyalty to show the world that they do make a good boondocker.
I have seen a few posts around that doo sold more summits than rmk this yr . how is that possible ?U see what 1 summit for every 10 poos

What are you talking about? Doo, poo and wok? What are you cooking?

Just a quick question in between you guys keeping momo's head from continued swelling.....I have seen a few references to the Vector having a "new" motor.....?....I think it is still the same bore n stroke 1049cc ....NO?
I realize it gets the automotive style drive by wire....what changes am I missing or is that it?

I know what u were saying just pointing out they are still using cats innovations on race sleds. I think they can get away with it on limited build race only chassis

seriously, I believe you can get on any of the 3 and go have a total blast and not out ride the sled. Since I have riden all 3, I believe the pro has the most neutral feel. Once you can get over the learning curve of any of them is where it's at. I see guy on M and doo rip lines 'll never rip so as momoney said earlier it is a lot about rider. If the doo had a comp hp sled it would be a night and day difference but that isn't the case so kudos to doo for the HP gain, it helps but the chassis is not as flickable. Like I said, the tmotion devise allows the sled to roll over because it naturally does not want to as easily as the pro. The doo-dad does make a huge difference and guys are having a blast with them.

True. There are many guys who prefer the feel of the XM and many who prefer the feel of the pro. They are saying the 174 t3 is going places out west only turbos could go. And believe it or not everyone u see talk about them and compare say its way more nimble than they thought. Believe it or not dootalk (all rolling your eyes)is home to many many people who own and ride pro's and XMs...and give honest real world reviews of each side by side and what each is good and bad at. Sounds like the T3 equalled the playing field, but the axys sounds like it will up the ante. As far as numbers most guys living out west say the T3s are everywhere and are the most prevelent new mountain sled on the hill. But that is likely to change with axys pro, especually when it comes with a 174 3 inch track..or 2.7. Then im sure all you pro guys will be saying how great the 174 is...LOL

You are right. But, when doo-doo or poo-poo bring Cat's innovations out on their production sleds, people on hear with selective memory will talk about how great their brand is. The cheerleaders really have to pay more attention to all the brands.

174 in any sled will go places a 153 cannot go, regardless of brand. I probably do have some blinders on because I am from the UP and the nimbleness of the pro is the bomb so I always compare it to the tree riding out west which makes up a smaller portion of the riding done out there on average. I mean when we all go out west, a lot of us UP guys head right for the trees but in reality the Mtn have so much to offer. My next pro will be a 162 and if they made a 174 I'd buy that. Out west momentum is achieved much easier than the UP,,,at least for me it is so the doo 174 has a big footprint and the most HP it ought to bring it real well. Good points you have mad and thanks for posting them.

By the way, look what just walked into my garage!

hey Ezra, can you give me some tips on this sled, it's an 09 so it's not the HO and has ACT drive. What should I check before I go and abuse it. I hate the look and weight of that factory can, it's a monster. I wanna SLP because the decibels are low and looses good amount of weight, got an old one laying around?

Yam site real busy and bad interweb connection

Yep I could not get in for hours after release but did break thru supertax for some info. When I did get in lots to sift thru to get my head around new stuff. It would be better, imo,if OEMs listed release improvements on home page & then let us do the deep dive on those points. Digging thru each model specs takes a lot of time.
