2018/2019 bears

They do say it every year because it becomes evident around this time that the coaching staff is riding Rodgers like Indy rode Manning. If I remember correctly they all got fired for doing that and I think our "owner" should clean house.

Back to Da Bears they have to beat the fins if they are the real deal. Playoff teams win theses type of games and Bears moved up to 9th in power rankings. A defining game imo.

Had the Bears on radio in the background....one thought kept occurring to me...How great it is to have Wayne Larrivee doing Packer play by play!

They'll be lucky to go 2-5 the next 7.
This team is so fundamentally flawed starting with the head coach down. How Mc Carthy doesn't see what everyone else does in Aaron Jones and get him the ball more than the 8 times he touched it last night is completely baffling. Mc Carthy has lost this team and things are gonna get real ugly the next two games when Pats and Rams run the score up on us.
All Rodgers did was just delay the inevitable.
Mc Carthy needs to go.

Packer fan since '63. I agree with ALL of this...letter for letter.
They should have dumped both Capers and McCarthy and started over.

The Pack was just about beaten at home by a team without its starting QB and RB. They have Rodgers. And that is it. If ever a person needed to see the difference between a good innnovative coach vs and old "let Rodgers do it" coach there was your game. Bill Belichick and Andy Reid are good older coaches that have adapted to the way the game has changed. McCarthy hasn't changed anything ever. Rodgers has been wasted. And yes they are going to get pounded by the Pats and the Rams. And probably everybody else.

Being a chicago bears fan for many years, it's actually quite fun (except last Sunday's game) to watch them play with some
interest. Curious to see how they play the Pats next week.
My cousin is working for the company that is doing the 50 million dollar renovation at halas hall. He gets there @ 5:30 in the morning, just when coach Nagy shows up in his bmw 7 series.
He usually says good morning to him, but just got a grumble last monday morning LOL

P.S. - snowbuilder, nice thread you got going here

Weird season so far. The second half will say whats what. Buffalo beats Vikes, pack beats Buffalo...49ers are building up and up no shame there....yet the Pack secondary is sooo iffy. fak...the Browns won...LOL. I ain't no bears type fan....not gonna piss on Mc Carthey to feel good about it all.

Bears were up and down lot of mistakes..... could have easily won the game and quite frankly should have...... penalties called that were not penalties, big one on burton that negated the TD and then the pic on next play. Not sure what happened to the tackling of the defense but wow. gase had a good game plan have to give him some credit there.

The one positive is mitch played well in the 2nd half. very well i thought minus one bad play, if the penalty that wasnt a penalty wasnt called mitch finishes the 2nd half with 4 TDs and bears blow them out. We dont want mitch to be the reason they are losing games and he def was not the reason.

This is a young team that are going to have ups and downs. big measuring stick game this week! Gobears!

Bears are trending up and I liked what I saw from Trub in the second half. He did miss some easy passes and threw a couple head scratchers that could have easily been INT's but I see improvement. All defenses get one bad game, this definitely was the Bears. Im a little concerned about Mack's leg injury and how the team responded with him being limited. The Bears are a team that can compete with most teams this year...what a change!
As for the Pack......its not looking good. Trending down and I don't see them getting any better with schedule coming up. What did McCarthy eat this past summer, a spare offensive lineman? That Pack defense looked brutual against a no name QB. Might as well call the Pack "the Rodgers Team" for now, thats all they have. And for the 49ers defense on that last drive... not sure I have ever seen a worse set of DB's play a 1 minute drill.
Vikes...I am excited to see the Vikes play the Bears. I think the Vikes are better but they have been consistently inconsistent.
and for the Lions....their the Lions.
