I have 10 acres of wood and plenty of downfall. But then he decided too much work dragging out of woods so had logger deliver semi loads. That’s costly and you still have to cut split and stackMy brother has one and you're right, they're a lot of work. Cutting, splitting, and hauling wood is no picnic. But, you can't beat the energy cost and if you have a wood lot it's a good way to manage the dead stuff and encourage new growth.
