Good luck on this issue Kip. This kind of crap is all over the place now days it seems. More of the "hurray for me, and to **** with you" attitude. It takes ARPOS to do this!!! I sure hope his credit gets clobbered!!!

Feel sorry for ya Kip. My only advice for you is not to post his name in a public forum. Its not going to get your money for the part, and could possibly hurt your chances. Sounds like you have followed the proper channels to receive your payment. Try to remain professional through this mess, which I understand is hard to do considering the circumstances, but I feel in the long run will pay off for you.

Kip,

Sorry to hear the BS you have to put up with, it seems now a days we are dealing with a "different cliental" ....I've bee in sales for 34 years, I remember the old days were a "hand shake" or one's "word" was a mans honor and people took pride in relationships....now it seems no one cares and its all about "me" .......it's always someone else's fault. In todays world, its becoming harder to be nice to folks..... burn his ***, this is wrong.

You see this attitude from national news broadcasters everyday trying to make the news about them not the news..lol... It gets to the point I can't watch national news broadcasters anymore... what the chit do I care about their opinions regarding news? I can form my own opinion regarding the facts and the facts only. Crazy world currently and something has to change reporting quality of the facts not make chit up to fit your position. Same thing going on here with Kip's problem customer just not dealing with reality just wants to blame Kip.....hello customer live in the real world you know what you were told....goofy and dishonest at best....I just don't know anymore in this world.

another thing I find about MOST people today, or generations of now, is folks don't have SHAME , or get embarrassed any more, or just NO Pride , they could seem to care less what there word is worth or what folks think of them!

I have said this before, but, I think if you LOOK back at things, I think many grew up with parents telling there kids, DON"T worry about others and or what people think
when there kids made a mistake or??
and sadly, well, that GOOD /kind words to TRY and make a kid feel better, some got us to where ,m people now really DON"T care about what others think , or what they do??
went a little too far maybe?
good intentions that went wrong like?

IDK if that is it but online postings can be brutal in todays world and the internet has few boundaries. Words matter seems simple to me ....but I grew up in a time ...no internet... in my day if you say bad things about someone true or not and you are involved in a boxing match off school grounds. lol Now days it is the battle of postings...that kind of stuff just not worth it to me and I don't engage in that madness.

I agree, yrs back, parking lots settled a lot of dumb things and taught lessons, NOT learned today, including ways to vent anger, and normally they had ONLY two willing victims at play!

I also think the lack of well, these debates in parking lots, , are also what is leading to many of these shootings and likes over the top things that happen, LACK of being able to vent in other ways, people build up and up and then go OVER the edge, or so it seems!
I'm not saying fighting is right or solves all issue's
but, I do think for ME< I learned a lot from some bouts, and solved things and at the end of it, moved on and went forward ,
were living in a rather crazy world, where being too PC about everything, I don't think its all good either!

Yeah I don't want the social war, I don't enjoy them and furthermore people can be wrong and still damage your google ratings. It's a shame, people can take advantage of you and attack you but you cannot respond as a business. My last incident that 99% of you know about led to bad google ratings and they were dead wrong. It hurts and sucks that people can be so irresponsible and mean. I'm still not going to let me them change the way I do business. Period! If they need to the money that bad then let them have it. I'll lay my head down at night just fine:) Thanks to you all:)

Might be good to write up a waiver on user installed electrical parts to avoid a next time. At list a note on the receipt with a signature so no nonsense.

Flag and fix inappropriate reviews

Reviews that violate the Google review policies can be removed from Google My Business listings. See the instructions below to either flag an inappropriate review that you find on your listing or fix a review you wrote that's been flagged or removed.

Flag a review

If you find a review that you believe violates Google review policies, you can flag it for removal. The review will be assessed and possibly removed from your listing.

Before you begin
•Check the policy. Only flag reviews that violate Google policies. Don't flag reviews that you don't like but are still factually accurate. Google doesn't get involved when merchants and customers disagree about facts, since there's no reliable way to discern who's right about a particular customer experience. Read the policy before flagging a review.
•Be patient. It can take several days for a review to be assessed, so don’t contact support right after you flag it.

To flag a review for removal:
1.Navigate to Google Maps.
2.Search for your business using its name or address.
3.Select your business from the search results.
4.In the panel on the left, scroll to the “Review summary” section.
5.Under the average rating, click [number of] reviews.

6.Scroll to the review you’d like to flag and click the flag icon .
7.Complete the form in the window that appears and click Submit.

Never realized you got a couple bad reviews so I went to check them out. When I looked, my search shows you guys only have 20 google reviews. Can't believe it with all the comments you get here. I left a review while I was there and we should get more of the people from this site leave a write-up too. Not the right time of the year to drum up some of that business, but come next season we'll have to get more people to leave some reviews for all the great places in the UP we talk about here. You get enough 5 star ratings and everyone will see through those 1 star whiners.

I would never try to screw a biz or someone over. That's just me. But to say " Git em where it hurts in his credit rating "
I could care less about that b/c I don't use any credit/debt. None. Never have. Cash is KING.

Figure it out.

You prolly know this but not using CC hurts your credit rating big time same as NOT taking out loans and making payments. I haven't needed a loan in 20 years & it hurt my credit app for cosigning a loan for a new car for my daughter. My credit rating was very good but was told Pete take out a loan and pay it off you are golden but you need to show it. I'm not sure cash is King anymore some places can't handle cash don't want it plastic makes the world go round plus protects the buyer if some goofy things happen and this is what Kip is facing....cash is gone no recourse. Everyone should do what they feel comfortable doing I can carry $100 around for month and not spend it..lol

Most all insurance uses credit ratings to determine rates. If you never use credit your credit rating is either low or non existent. So you pay more for insurance. Cash used to be king but not in this world. If the IRS had their way there would be no cash at all. They would like nothing more than to track every single transaction so no tax dollars ever get lost. We probably won't live long enough to see it but it will come. All money will be plastic. With embedded chips. Even now my millenial kids seldom use cash.

What I meant is I have and use a CC often. I just pay it off each month. That along with keeping current on bills over the years has given me a outstanding credit rating. Visa decided many years ago to up my limit to $ 25 K which seems crazy high with all the fraud in todays world.

Ah yes. The 25 thou limit. A meaningless perk. That way VISA can say they are giving you something. If they really wanted to give you something they would extend the credit out to two months with no interest. When the whole embedded chip thing is fully functional a big part of the fraud thing is supposed to be taken care of. The USA is behind most of the rest of the rest of the world with this tech. However it will just be one more hurdle for the hackers and other criminals that steal from the CC companies. I have no doubt that the crooks will find a way to hack the chip cards given a little time.

if you have any forum of insurance it is calculated with a heavy influence of credit reporting .
