You could put in your application for president of Yami-Cat with speech's like that. They'd be impressed.
That would be awesome

Ordering 2 new 2018 Apex's for us, Love the colors!
Can't beat an apex for a high milage trail cruiser.....really hope they move that engine into a cat/new chassis next year.
The S.S. rear is a bit rough for this old spine (hopefully they have improved this)
Love the colors too...imo though...pricing is too close to the sidewinder...if the winder had eps...I think many of the apex fans, like myself would switch in an instant....better yet..put that engine in a pantera chassis...I'd buy one tomorrow..touring riders don't need a turbo...but we'd like a little more hp than the viper has...the 4 cylinder fits nicely between the viper and sw.
Not us, you couldn't give us that cat chassis. We will ride these a couple season and hopefully they come out with a New Yamaha chassis.
What model years did u have?? Because I can tell u...there is a huge difference in ride quality from 2014 to 2016...the QS3 shocks are amazing....they make the viper, a really nice ride...those 2014s, and 2015s..were too stiff imo....also I do know the viper chassis doesn't fit evetybody...some folks coming off vectors and Apex's don't like the rider forward seating...but...imo...when set up properly for rider weight...they ride far better than any of the old delta box yamis.
That would be awesomewho wouldn't love working in a sport you love?

Current sleds 06 Apex RTX (spare) mine is a 12 Apex XTX wife has a 13 Apex 128, We rode a 16 Viper for a day and we weren't impressed.
I can understand your reaction same as me 2012 Apex XTX to Viper for 15 miles or so and unimpressed with the engine comparo not in the ballpark and ride not refined like Apex. Try Apex XTX to Sidewinder and I think you will feel differently ...I know I did. Right away the SW engine response is very good and the more rider forward position is all good. I felt I was nitpicking little things that were different than Apex like gauges and the location of hand warmers more of I just need to adapt than object except for EPS that I really missed. Put EPS on 18 SWs and I'm interested. Colors and graphics of SWs were always nice but why the heck no EPS????
Just more weight and IMO not needed on that chassis, it steers plenty easy.

I don't care about the 4s weight and disagree SW was a load to steer compared to EPS sleds. Yamaha engineering does not care about weight look at 2018 Apex new front shock single large resevoir and dampers on both Viper and Apex more concerned about benefits of devices not the weight to use them. If weight was so important to me I would not even consider a 4s sled. Weight does not affect me for trail riding groomed trails and plowed Frs as long as power and handling is good. If powder riding I would want the lightest sled out there but I'm not a powder rider. What is right for you just is not right for me we have different needs in sleds. I think something runs deeper with lack of EPS on shared cat chassis and Yamaha. So much low hanging fruit for both companies if they would use it on the 4s. Yes additional cost and weight but if weight is your only consideration then why are you thnking about a 4s....IMO wrong sled look at a 2s.

I think we should all hop on the new Sno Scoot and race! What a blast that would be bouncing off one another!!! Pink slips baby!!! LOL!!!
The good old days!! Nowadays you don't see many new $13 thou sleds with different paint scrubbed into the side panels. It used to be commonplace to use your buddy to help you turn. I miss that. If everybody had 30 mph sleds it would truly be a blast.
I understand, We don't ride Apex's for the speed. Comfort, Quality and Looks is what makes us ride them. What's that chassis and turbo going to look like when it gets 8000 plus miles on it like our Apex' have, and still look like new.
