Are You A Collector?

Duh, what do you think I collect?
Anything that is Doberman related. Ebay is my best friend, but once in awhile I find things at thrift stores. Every room in the house has a statue, picture or the REAL thing wondering around (had 4 Dobes all it once for awhile). Also have a huge Dobe statue at the end of the drive and a sign in the pole building wiindow that says"Break in, Make his day". Seems to work, never had an intruder yet.
I also collect real fur coats, usually vintage ones from estates. I wear them and used to get tired of people threatening to throw paint on me. Then I asked them to come over and see how my critters are treated. If I could find a real fur dog coat, Skye would have one too!

you got any bmx bikes from the 70-80's ?,,,I like em lots!!!!

Bicycles. They just follow me home. We have 12 of them, four of them are my wife's. (And I'm not even counting the grand kid's bikes). Different bikes for different uses. (Just like snowmobiles, just more affordable). Our basement looks like a used bike shop. Though I confess its time to thin the herd down to six. We haven't ridden the tandem, mtbs or the vintage bikes in a few years. I just know when I sell them Ill regret it though.:) I really want a recumbent trike. My wife says if I get another bike, she gets another dog.

I am collecting dust. Mark, any bites on this Antique Caboose stove I have? Any Caboose restorers or train stuff collectors? I have the find for your collection. Very rare since it is over 100 years old and has never had a fire in it. I used to collect beer steins and anything that says Polaris, HD or Miller light (for the wife). Wife collects Dept 56 ceramic houses.
I have found that craigs list seems to work best with the burners. I still have to get to your moms been very busy with my collection. I found a guy with tons of die cast snowmobiles but it's been tough pryin them out of his fingers.

Nope, sorry lenny. Probably nothing of any real value to anyone but me either. Just bikes I had, or wish I had while growing up. '70s ten speeds, three speeds, etc. Our son took our old GT mtbs when he and his wife moved to Colorado. They moved back, but the bikes didn't.:(

You must be younger than me. I grew up in Chicago in the '60s and early '70s. We didnt have bmx bikes, we rode these. View attachment 27350 But wanted these. View attachment 27346 :)

nytro... i've got some old lures that belonged to my grandfather, what i did was i got an old piece of drift-wood out of the sturgeon river, let it dry out for awhile, then i sprayed it with polyeurthane, then hung it on the wall in the mancave and "snagged" all the lures on the driftwood. it looks good! are u looking to sell or donate your lures?
