Another good sunday. bears win. fudge lose.

cam newton has to be sore, he took a beating.

didn't get to see the bears offense much, 37 plays total only 7 pass attempts. but take the win!

Was shocked to see the new packers QB struggle with his week of preparation and going up against that high school defense. Nice!

Hundley looked good at times but idyll not really do good.
That's y we call him the back up.

4-7? If Mitch doesn't underthow that 70 yard underthown completion he has 30 yards for the whole game.
Going to need to throw more than that next week

I would imagine its tough to look good when you thro 25 times for 80 yards and a pic. I didn't see the game so I don't know tho.

No doubt trubisky will need to thro more. but gaining experience without having to try and do to much Is beneficial to him, I think.

With the way the bears D was dominating cam, fox was not gona give the rookie a chance to throw the ball, understandable especially when they went up by 2 scores.

Agree
McCarthy is going to need to realize he's going to need to let Hundley sling the ball cuzz our D isn't winning us any games. On a bright note Jones looks like an excellent back and something g to build on.

I don't know how many times Mitch was sacked in the pocket but it was too many? Why is Mitch in the pocket move him around let him turn up field or throw the ball away? Mitch did hold onto the ball when Glennon did not but seems very much like the same game plan which doesn't make sense to me. Mitch can run so call roll outs and QB draws more often move those sticks. The Bears D is awesome improved in every position with depth. If Pace can do the same with the O in 2018 Da Bears will be back! Hope runs high.... FINALLY!!

he was sacked 4 times. I agree on mitch holding the ball too long on a few of those sacks. the bad one was when he took the sack that bumped them from a 43 yard field goal to a 52 yarder and of course guy doinked it off post. but he is gona have to be able to thro from the pocket. that is what makes NFL QB's. i was impressed with the -D- tho. cam never saw it coming. hicks and floyyd pounded him all day.

Cam is a head case. Once you rattle his persona (fat head), he is jello.
The Bears did that yesterday.

Oh but Hundley has been learning the offense for 3 years. And one of his teammates said he would get into the HOF. And they wouldn't trade him when they had the chance. So all will be fine. One thing is for sure. Rodgers has been the league MVP for the last 7 years. They really are nothing without him.

How are we seeing the NO game? I can't see the Bears hanging in there with Drew Brees and company. Saints not that good against the run or pass but with the Bears they know what is coming and can stack the box. If the Bears fall behind by 14 early it will be over pretty quickly.....Trubisky will have to pass sometime in this game so hope he can find someone that he can play catch with. The D will be ok if game is close and they can get off the field.... if not Brees will wear them down and run up the score. Very possible imo Saints win by a big margin.....I hope not but got to be real....Brees will be HOF QB.

I doubt that a last-minute trade for a wide receiver is going to change much.
I'm just hoping to see that the Bear's defense is really better-than-average, and keep them around 21 points.

Nope WR and QB timing takes awhile and season half over. Pace will get after 2018 WR FAs and draft picks plus get some healed up as well.

Bears are 9 point dogs. would feel lot better if this game was in Chicago. traditionally tough spot for bears D in dome against brees. gona need a big game from trubisky/howard to win this one.

Howard gonna see 22 man fronts all game... we'll see the Bears cover up Mitch's deficiencies this week. 7 pass attempts ain't gonna cut it.

Mitch needs to throw! He has shown ability to be a good QB but has shown accuracy issues, dropping his eyes down, missing key reads and open receivers and lack of timing of when to get rid of the ball. 7 passes is not going to give him the reps he needs. He also needs a quality receiver, which are extremely important in this league. Your not going to develop him with sub par receivers.

I agree. the most important thing for the bears future is developing him, not necessarily winning games now.

Looks to me like the Bears moved up and grabbed the wrong QB.

to early to tell. way to early. lol.

bears easily coulda won the game

Man tho. the play calling was getting frustrating to watch. run, run, pass almost every freaking series.

Miller's TD catch not called was pretty lame. not sure how that gets screwed up.

other than that the small things that didnt go the bears way cost them, lining up offside on FG resulting in TD, missed field goal and the saints hitting one off upright and in. its super evident the clear area of need is WR. how many times they showed no one open and mitch either forced to tuck and run or thro it away.

U must not of heard of Deshaun Watson. He's got Hopkins and that's it. Bears run game is way better which in turn should b allowing for more psssing opportunities. His offense was as anemic as the Bears before he took over now they're scoring 30 a game.

Tough break for Miller, sure looked like a catch. That injury will proll end his career. Gruesome.

Mitch was averaage, don't know if they don't trust him to throw because he's not ready or because they have no weapons. Or mayb it's Fox's 1970's era offensive scheme. Prolly a little of all the above.
