Bears & nfl

U must not of heard of Deshaun Watson. He's got Hopkins and that's it. Bears run game is way better which in turn should b allowing for more psssing opportunities. His offense was as anemic as the Bears before he took over now they're scoring 30 a game.

Tough break for Miller, sure looked like a catch. That injury will proll end his career. Gruesome.

Mitch was averaage, don't know if they don't trust him to throw because he's not ready or because they have no weapons. Or mayb it's Fox's 1970's era offensive scheme. Prolly a little of all the above.

He has fuller and hopkins.... An offensive coach who understands run pass balance.

Im sorry but the bears playcalling is so predictable its sickening. If i can see what play they are going to run i can only imagine what the d coordinator knows.

Yesterday i can not say how many times they ran the ball for a loss on 1st down. then ran again and we have 3rd and long and no WRs to get open. it was frustratuing. hardly any play action called. i dunno whats going on....

Obviously the the area of need is WR, im sure fox is gone. mitch is handcuffed now. time will tell but im not ready to say the bears drafted wrong guy lol. by this logic, one coulda also said the colts drafted wrong player in andrew luck cause RG3 tore it up his rookie year. watson has looked good. we shall see.

Miller's Injury was nasty. SO bad that he had emergency surgery last night to save his leg! As for Trub, he was average yesterday but he has zero talent at receiver to work with. The only time a receiver on the Bears gets open is usually from a blown defensive coverage. The Bears had too many errors yesterday but the offsides was plain unacceptable. You have to be a special kind of stupid to make that error.

As far as play calling I agree, its bad. But, I don't know what plays to call with no receivers, an offensive line loaded with injuries and a rookie QB.

As far as Watson vs Trub, I will have to wait til year 3 to really make that call but Watson is playing well but he has a surrounding cast with superior talent.

to early to tell. way to early. lol.

bears easily coulda won the game

Man tho. the play calling was getting frustrating to watch. run, run, pass almost every freaking series.

Miller's TD catch not called was pretty lame. not sure how that gets screwed up.

other than that the small things that didnt go the bears way cost them, lining up offside on FG resulting in TD, missed field goal and the saints hitting one off upright and in. its super evident the clear area of need is WR. how many times they showed no one open and mitch either forced to tuck and run or thro it away.

Totally agree ....I didn't think the Bears had a chance against the Saints but they could have easily won this game but every break and close call went against them and then Millers TD catch reversed.... Barf missed field goal!...Now I don't know what a TD catch is anymore ...crazy. Miller injury tragic prolly done agewise. Trubisky is getting nfl game reps which is good and will continue and the kid can run and pass just no one to catch his throws.Pace really tried to sign WRs in the Spring but no one wanted to play with Glennon and a unproven rookie QB. Next year will be different Pace will get what he needs via draft and FAs. The Bears D is back and I give Fox credit for that...he just is not an offensive coach and Pace needs to consider that prolly better to have an O minded Head coach and hire a good D coach. Fox prolly was a good choice after Trestman was fired but Pace needs to move on from Fox now as he is not the correct coach to develop Mitch.

Yea fox has done good with D, but ideally we keep fangio and hire a new HC to develop the kid.

no doubt pace is gona open the checkbook and sign some WR's. keep drafting Oline and Dline and bears have a super bright future.

Alshon is a FA....lol...dare I say he returns?

Alshon prolly not if Eagles go to the SB this year or come close. Alshon is a good WR but got hurt a lot. Pace will be on it and on it now with the Inman deal .... I get what he is doing to improve WR position but doubt he can get a really good one at this point in the season. Mitch will just have to make the best of the WRs on the roster and he may have a bunch of picks this year putting it up to dummies that can not get separation.... all a part of improving a young team.

So much for Pace woulda shoulda drafted Watson because Watson went down with season ending ACL surgery today running in the open much like Bridgewater's injury as far as routine activity. Trubisky looks to be a bit more muscular and more solidly built....time well tell but Trubisky seems to get right back up after a hard hit where Watson seemed shakey at times more affected. Too bad for Houston they seemed like a top 10 team.

Sucks for Watson. started out good. either way I think mitch is going to be better in the long run

You and WD need to take of your orange and blue soaked glasses.
Watson is light years ahead developmentally than Mitch. Passing. Scrambling. Accuracy. Command of O. Everything.
Stevie Wonder can see this. Watson took over one of the worst offenses in the league for the last how many years and turned it into the best as of this week. Mitch hasn't done that and you can blame this or that, lack of this or that but bottom line is the Bears D scores about as much as their O.

just can't predict injuries anyone could break their leg ext week.

Heard on the radio that the line for next weeks Bears/Pack game has Bears as the favorite by 3. Obviously this is a super early line that will move but they stated it was the first time the Bears were a favorite in that series since 2008!

So momoney, what do you think Mitch has done better than Watson this season. I think Mitch has a bright future but I agreed that Watson was ahead of Mitch this year. I think Mitch can become a good QB, my biggest concern is the Bears ability to groom him to become the good QB, the Bears have a pretty poor QB grooming ability.

Never said he has done anything better per say. But timo said watson is LIGHT Years ahead of trubisky which is simply not true, was he ahead? yes but not light years. And now this setback will put him behind mitch.

Watson has more experience especially in big games and has more talent around him at pass catching. I also think bill Obrien is slightly better than fox at putting the rookie in good spots. So I am not surprised he is doing better statistically than trubisky thru the first like 4 or 5 games lol.

Fox is gone and the head coach will be hired based on his ability to coach a QB. everyone knows the future of the bears rests on mitch trubisky, which I feel really good about.

would of thought it was 1985 since the Bears were favored over the Pack.

The Mitch vs DeShaun isn't even up for debate. Watson had more yard passing on one drive than Mitch had in a whole game.

One thing for sure is he didn't blow his knee out non-contact. Mitch is more durable by light years!!!

If your not available what good are you?

won't take but a couple of years to throw Mitch into to the scrap heap of former bear QB busts. Just give it time.

Busts>Mitch

i have a feeling Mitch is going to have a "breakout" game this week. He will probably look like a HOF'er.
