Glennon threw 3 TDs passes all were dropped and could have won the game in the last 30 seconds and will start next week. White now listed as a bust and Pace should move him in a deal for a real WR if he can. If no interest in White then trade 2018 or future draft choice for someone that can stretch the field. I would assume Fox will bring up Tanner Gentry as he tracks the long ball well. Doesn't matter which QB starts if no down field WR can't win with short dink and dunk the D will play up and running game will also be shut down. I will watch what Pace does at WR and has to do something! Cohen an explosive runner looked like Barry Sanders when he reversed the field for a long play and almost went all the way. The D played well but secondary break downs hurt big time.

Im just tired of a serviceable QB. Kizor Is playing, Watson is playing, wentz played last year, dak played last year.

This is mitch trubiskys team. Lets get it going. The offense will be so much more dynamic with him as their QB.

Either way if you told me the bears would hold the falcons to 23 and have a legit chance to win. 1st and goal to win...I would be happy. just couldn't make the plays. but they are not far off.

Glennon gonna have to play a heck of a lot worse to warrant bringing in a rookie.

Well if john fox wants to die(be fired) with glennon then leave him in and go, 1-3 or 0-4. and then finally make the switch

trubisky is ahead of all mentioned rookies who start or started above.

I like these points I just read...

1. Bears QB Mike Glennon was fine. He wasn’t the reason they lost the game. But he could have been the reason they won.

2. Expect more from Glennon; the Bears do. If they wanted a game manager, Brian Hoyer was cheaper. Glennon is supposed to be better.

3. At some point, Glennon has to create for himself and his Bears offense. Starting QBs do that. Pressure is part of his life.

4. Last point on Glennon: His lack of athleticism will be issue if the Bears’ wide receivers can’t gain immediate separation. I counted one rollout, which resulted in a sack by outside linebackers Brooks Reed.

Tom Brady would crush mike glennon in a foot race. and tom brady was what I thought to be slowest person in NFL.

But I do agree he didn't play horrible. just not my cup of tea. take no chances. if the bears get down they will have hard time coming back with mike glennon at the helm. at least jay cutler could sling it.

Give Glennon at least 2 starts see how his QB play pans out know what you have as well as the rest of the league where he may have value. We all know he is prolly gone next year keep him as 2 or move him for something. There was zero interest in Cutler but no real upside to his body of work and getting old to boot. Trubisky will play soon unless Glennon can get some Ws. Bears still have zippo for WRs so neither QB has anyone to throw to except TEs. The Bears will continue to play ball control keep away and try and stay in each game and hope dink and dunk works and let the running game take control no matter who plays QB. This is a team with a good D and good running game but their WRs SUCK!

I just think its time for mitch to start. its his team.

Yes the recievers suck but it is IMO the least valuable position on the field. We have seen what good QBs do with no name WR's.

Josh bellemy is always open...they have some options. kendall wright is serviceable....

they also have cohen out of backfield and can also lineup in slot. so not all horrible. let trubisky play.

Josh can get open in the medium stuff but has bricks for hands good special teamer and back up WR. Wright is small not a game breaker... Cohen will be defended after Atlanta game seems to be at his best when he reverses his field. Bring up Gentry let him develop seems like a sleeper needs a chance some what like Cam. Mitch will play soon....If Glennon sinks in first half of Bucs game Mitch could start Q3 but if Glennon does well he completes this one.

Geezus, White might be getting close to Tony Mandrich level of bust. He has play 5 games in 3(?) years?

Not up to Ryan Leaf standards yet though.

I didnt watch the Bears game, were the Falcons that bad, or are the bears really not that bad?

He is always hurt. Ankle, leg, now shoulder. Some tuff luck. has had no time to develop or be evaluated. but he will get another chance next year since he is guaranteed contract.

The bears D especially front 7 is legit and the oline/running game is good. They will compete, but with glennon at the helm I don't see them beating the good teams.

NO WR's and Db play is suspect..... even tho they shutdown matt ryan and Julio jones about as good as one can ask

The veterans on the team are starting to call for trubisky. when he takes over...hehehe...

when he takes over you better hope he's the 2nd coming of Marino, Rodgers, Favre and Montana all rolled up into one the way you been hyping his talent.

Doesn't take a braniac to see how talented he is and how commited he is.

O yea BTW how is that record breaking offense going? shutout in 1st half ?

1-0 mo ,,, what's your record?
Super Bowl bound

No one including myself said or think the packers will not be good. I am not surprised by them winning at HOME, week 1.

The bears are not ready to be ahead of the packers. They are too young. It may not be today or tomorrow but they are coming and they are coming fast.

I made the comment based on you saying the packers were gona score 700 points this year(All time record). heck they wont make 500.

Do they have a chance at SB? you bet. but they need things to go their way. They are one injury away from the worst team in the NFC.

not hating on ya at all just saying you may want to tap your brakes a little bit before you get a fat egg sandwhich splattered on your face.
kids played 18 games and not one NFL game. but yah you saw him run around a little complete a couple passes against 3rd stringers in practice games so you just know he's gonna be a HOF'er...... but whatever I digress. we'll see how this plays out.

Comon its much more than running around and completing pre-season passes that have us WAY excited to want him to take over ASAP.

But that's your fan boy packer evaluation of him thus far, its ok you don't want to admit or compliment he looks like he has what it takes to be elite. Which I understand.

He will be an elite QB baring injury. HOF is way to far out to say with seriousness. First step is take the bears over and wreck the NFC north. then the NFC. Then the NFL.

Anybody know the betting line on the Bears Vs Tampa? I'm thinking the Bucs may not be focused after Irma tore up the area. Houston sure was not ready to play after Harvey. Da Bears might be catching the Bucs at their weakest and Bucs could tire in second half plus their timing has to be off. Should be a good game for the Bears and they could steal this one regardless who is the QB.

Bears are 7 point dogs. The only negative for bears is TB had extra time to prepare for them. That cat is also out of the bag with how good cohen is.
