True Tampa had plenty of time to look at the tapes and I figured a defender will be on Cohen but that opens up other things and Cohen is a match up problem for any big guy. BUT the Bucs didn't play yet this year and #1s were held out of the last preseason game. I can't be sure but all around Bucs timing should be off and and Bears should be sharper. Only thing I fear is Glennon may chit or go blind and be too pumped up playing his old team.

We will see. bears have to play well to win. No freeman, on IR. That's 3 bears starters already on IR. looks like a repeat of last year.
Young guys are gona have to step up and play.
I really can't get an accurate gauge on his abilities with the little sample size I've seen. if you were honest with yourself you'd same the same thing but your drunk on the prospect that you MAYBE have a franchise QB on your hands and your blinders have short sighted your vision.

PS...mitch trubisky has it all. there are no doubts about it. the mentality, the athleticism, the willing to learn. The leadership. Its like the first time you hear a great musician play you know that person is a star....enjoy the Rodgers show, cause there is soon to be a new sheriff in town.
YIKES comparing Trubisky to Rogers who maybe the greatest QB ever is premature. Give the kid a chance to develop could take 3 years. There just is no Trubisky body of work to go hog wild at this point. Also too early on all the drafted QBs to know much about them for the long haul.

I will say, speaking for all bears fans, the hopes for trubisky are high, and some are still doubtful....like ALL packers fans take. they cant admit the bears COULD have a star QB. And how the tables could be turned.

Developed well in preseason and looked like he has a lot of upside. That's all I know for now and I want to see him play when Pace and Fox think he is ready. I can wait just like everyone waited for Rogers.

Right here...but who cares....I can't find Carey anywhere on the Bears team lists or injured....nothing on transactions listed for Carey either but Pace did sign Rounds. Carey does not appear???

That wasn't a comparison per say. Just letting the packers fans know their QB is getting old and we got a young buck ready to take over.
Carey got cut before the season.
I can't find a transaction on Carey anywhere... Did anyone pick him up?

That's one of his strengths how coachable he is. his HS coach said that, college coach says that, fox and loggains say it. There is nothing bad anyone can say about this kid but doubt him. he has limited expierence but proved he is the most advanced rookie QB thus far and has been way ahead of even the bears brass lofting expectations. he has done everything asked. been a leader as a rookie. and also even taken his 2nd string spot well even tho he KNOWS he is BETTER than glennon.
I am anointing him. Its just so obvious this kid has it and im not talking athletic skills (that got him the #2 pick).... im talking the poise, confidence, commitment , leadership, unselfish. all the intangibles. lots of athletic Qbs that never come to fruition. not this kid. take that to the bank.
