Mo u sound like a babbling 5 year old right now. U think this guy is so great well then how come he cant beat out a journeyman backup who just had 3 first half to's one that went for a pick 6. Huh?? Can't even get on the field in the second half of a blowout ? Hmm?? I know because maybe the bears brass know a little more than u and they know he's not ready for the show yet. Fortunately for you Glenn just played himself out of the rotation so basically Trebisky will be starting by default not because he earned it! Time to put up or shut up.
Also us Packers fans have been listening to you bears fans tell us next year will be your year it's been going on for 25+ straight years eventually we just ignore you.
Like I said babbling 5 year old. Bring it on Mitch.

not sure u have a clue what your talking about on this one. if its based on pure performance alone a blind man can see who played/plays better. This assumtion doesn't make sense...pace/fox have there reasons for not playing him. but you saying the reason of he cant beat out glennon is laughable. BTW nice offense last night in Atlanta. o yea # 1 D too....LOL!

Lol many different explanations on why fox won't start trubisky but not beating out glennon is the funniest one yet. Gota love the packers fans point of view LOL!

And I quote...

His greatest blunder was playing out the Glennon charade

If ever there was a moment in Fox’s tenure where he had a chance to change the script on his likely future it was at the end of August. Rookie quarterback Mitch Trubisky had clearly outplayed veteran Mike Glennon in the preseason. All signs pointed to him not only being ready, but just flat out better than. Instead Fox stuck to the original plan.

He insisted Glennon gave the team the best chance to win. Turns out not so much.

Glennon now has four times as many turnovers as he has touchdown passes. So that whole thing about him protecting the football and managing the game? Guess we get to call Fox a liar. At least with Trubisky such mistakes are understandable. He’s a rookie who hasn’t seen NFL coverages. Glennon is 28 and was drafted in 2013.

If Fox thinks that man is better suited to lead the Bears offense, then he has lost touch with reality. It’s time for a change, not just at quarterback but at head coach as well.

Really?!?!?! Everyone but john fox knows its trubisky time. unfortunately he is the one making the call.

It’s Trubisky Time. Maybe it arrived at warp speed, but it’s here.

Somebody please tell that to Bears coach John Fox, who doesn’t seem to be listening or, for that matter, seeing. After his team’s awful loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday, he said he’s not considering a change from Mike Glennon to Mitch Trubisky.

“I don’t think that loss was all about the quarterback,’’ he said.

It mostly was, the quarterback said.

“Three bad plays by me were costly,’’ Glennon said.

If a switch to Trubisky seems too soon, too risky, too something, well, too bad. Blame Glennon for that. It’s time to acknowledge the obvious, that the Bears are better with the rookie as their starting quarterback.

He could have done what Glennon did in Tampa. Heck, there are Bears fans who could have done what Glennon did. Two bad interceptions, one returned for a touchdown, and a lost fumble in a 29-7 loss.

You can’t be billed as a low-risk quarterback, as Glennon is, then make generous donations to the opponent. You can get away with moving the ball as if it’s a grand piano. You can’t get away with selling it for a song.

But let’s boil this down to its most basic element. Trubisky can make something out of nothing. Glennon can make nothing out of something.

I don't think Bear fans are going to pay to see more of Glennon and want to see Trubisky play. If we are going to lose at least Mitch is getting NFL game experience. I know I'm bored with Glennon gave him a 2 game chance and he stunk in game 2. In any professional sport if not playing well you sit on the pines and Glennon was soooo bad in the first half of the Bucs game he should never have started the second half if you have at least an = alternative standing on the sidelines. Something more is at play here with Glennon and Trubisky both Pace and Fox MUST think Trubisky is not ready to call plays or recognise defenses it sure is not ability... the arm and legs are there. So it has to be game management at the NFL level. Watson and Kizer are both playing and doing Ok not great but using their leg and arm skills to be at least average Qbs with a whole lot of upside. Dumb as **** imo to not start playing Trubisky the O team is what it is but maybe Trubisky can give them a spark to play harder. The entire team knows Trubisky is the future so the future starts now!

Chill out on rushing the rookie in.... I say Sanchez should be playing.
I knew this is what we would get out of Glennon. 100%
Lets just lose all the games this year and go for the draft pick.

Looking at the protection Glennon had.... You want our rook i there getting pounded?

Trubisky can run and throw Glennon can not. For Glennon to win he will need to make quick throws to WRs that can catch. Trubisky can run around behind the line make something happen or run the ball down field Glennon can not. That's how Watson put up a W for Houston and Trubisky can do the same and has a better arm than Watson.

Cant agree here. glennon holds the ball way to long. Sanchez is only there to help the rookie.

IF they aren't gona play trubisky, which now I don't think they will until MNF week 5 vs the Vikings at the earliest, then stick with glennon in hopes he plays better and then you can trade him for some assets.

If Glennon continues to play poorly his trade value will be nil. I don't think the Bears will get much for Glennon no matter what he does. Cutler had a much better skill set and no one wanted him. Cutler played well for the Fins moved well threw well made Glennon look bush in comparison. I don't think Glennon will be a Bear next year prolly will be released costs too much.

I say you bring back Grossman.

Hey Grossman got the Bears to the SB had more skill than Glennon.

I don't think they would get much for glennon either, that's why I said HOPES he plays well.

Yes Glennon makes cutler look like an all timer.

Grossman LOL. nothing like th 0.0 QB ratings he would have.

Grossman 0.0 a Blutarsky! i haven't heard that name in awhile! Rough outing for Bears all around yesterday. defense gave up too many first downs on penalties, stupid punt pick up/fumble, Glennon being Glennon, etc...
Honestly, would Trub be better than glennon.. probably. But who is he going to throw to.....we have a joke receiving core, they can't catch and definitely cant get separation. No defense is scared of our receivers which makes it twice as hard for our running game. Bears are again in a bad spot.
The argument isn't between Glennon vs Trub. Glennon is a fill in QB that was never meant to take this team to a playoff (playoff, you say playoof?) Glennon is only here to fill in the time til Trub is ready. Fox must think hes not ready, Fox is 9-25 with the Bears so I do questions his decisions....brutual.
Whoever starts at QB this year its gonna be along and suffering record.....again.

Bill Belicheck would go 9-25 with this talent.

The Bears brass is doing Mitch and the fans a favor and not exposing him to a losing situation. in time he'll take over I just don't think they want to get him hurt or more importantly damage his psyche and confidence.
Who's he going to throw too? He can be as mobile as a cat ask RG3 how that worked out eventually he'll get hit and hit hard. The Bears aren't going anywhere this year let him learn for awhile on the bench keep losing and get a high pick and take playmaking WR. Courtland Sutton is a beast. Lot's of playmaking WR's coming up.

WR's are is the least important position on the field, IMO. The guys they have now can get open. but no one fears glennon so they play man and stop the run.

If taking some lumps damages his psyche then he was never meant to be a NFL QB in the first place.

I actually just read an article on rankings of positions on a NFL team. They are as follows:
1. QB - no surprise there
2. Designated pass rusher
3. Left tackle - gotta protect #1
4. #1 corner back
5. #1 receiver
6. Defensive tackle
7. Running back
8. Designated pass rusher #2
9. Middle linebacker
10. Tight end
Most rankings have these in their top 10, maybe not exactly that order but close. Receivers matter, well to at least people who get paid to coach and play the game.

I liken WR's to rims on a car or stereo in a car. It's cool if you have the best but do you really need the best? Not really. Thou Julio Jones is throwing that theory out the window.

There will never be an ideal time to start Trubisky the Bears are what they are which is young inexperienced team that needs reps in real NFL games to show they can or can not play well at the professional level. Glennon's body of work with the Bucs and Bears shows a statue standing stationary in the pocket waiting to be tackled or knocked down. Successful QBs have to be able to move around the pocket ,rollout, throw on the run which Trubisky has the raw skills to do well. Maybe Glennon would be able to do well with the Pats backing up Brady since Brady does not move well either...never did.The Bears need a mobile QB to help their RBs and WRs create separation from opposing defense. Glennon has had his chance in the preseason and 2 regular season games to show he should be #1 but has failed and everyone in the Bears locker room knows Trubisky has more talent and should be given a chance to start as the best player at his position. Fox and Pace need to make the change to Trubisky before they lose control of the entire team. Just no good points to wait while the Ls add up and their young gun rots on the bench. If Trubisky is all that a #2 QB draft choice should be he can play no matter how marginal the rest of the O maybe. Start Trubisky now and if he sucks you can draft another QB in 2018 or at least you know what you have in Trubisky and can enhance that position & draft WRs too.

Baring injury, i don't see trubisky going in until week 5. Fox already said glennon is starting this week. Unless he comes in mid game...which is entirely possible...

Next week is short week in GB. Even tho i would LOVE to see trubisky start this game, i don't think the coaches want his first start on the road in a short week.

That leaves.....an extra day of preparation...at home...week 5...vs the Vikings on MNF with all the bright lights. The day mitch shows whether he is the man or a mouse.

I don't know if that is a wise decision bringing him in on a Monday night against the Vikings D. When do they play the Saints?
