We'll just draft another HOF'er it ain't rocket science.

We'll? paha

THEY have drafted one FUTURE hall of famer....if im not mistaken brett favre was drafted by the falcons.

Drafting a QB def isn't rocket science, there really is no science behind it....its a lot of luck.

Ya know what really isn't rocket science tho, once a team gets lucky enough to get an all-time great QB, you simply surround him with a capable roster that doesn't get ran over every year by more physical teams in the playoffs....lmao.

edit ohh my bad they drafted bart starr in the 17th round in like 1955, so I guess its easy to draft HOF's...one every 50 years for the packers. man they got it figured out..... LOL!!!

u can basically say they drafted favre as he played 18 years with them.
How many HOF QB's the Bears draft?
Heck how many in the last 30 years went to the Pro Bowl? Heck how many in the last 30 years haven't outright sucked?
We'll be doing the running over this year bringing the Lombardi back home. It's not call the George Hallas championship trophy ya know Mo.

The bears have had no great QBs never said they did. and somehow they have been too 2 super bowls since 85. the packers have had all time greats and only been too 3 in same time span...LOL

They took a chance on favre NO ONE was sure he would be any good and NO ONE expected that.....ask andy reid and john gruden when they have talked about favre. If they thought he was so special they woulda drafted him...

That wasn't the subject tho. Good luck if you think the packers have some magic formula or distinct eye for drafting HOF Qb's....LOL...your in your wacker backer dream cheese world....la la la HOF Qb's are dime a dozen...you wont know what you guys have and how LUCKY you are until its GONE!!!!!mark my words!!!!

Its all about getting lucky.....and having some things fall your way......

Actually Ron Wolf was with Atlanta when they drafted Favre. Then Wolf took over at GB the next year, and traded for Favre right away.

Mitch certainly looks like he has the skills to be pretty damn good in this league. We will see how it plays out. Cutler certainly has the skills as well, just cant lead.

I remember the 80's when the pack sucked. BUT, they did have Dickey who was a damn good QB.

If Mitch turns out to be a world beater, and they dont get salary caps on positions, the bears are going to be royally screwed in 3-4 years as well.

BTW, look at the Patriots salary cap numbers...... Until these GMs learn how to do it the Patriot way, they will continue to dominate the NFL.

Ron Wolf was never GM of, or associated with, the Atlanta Falcons. Look it up.

Patriots get a nice break from TB. Tom Brady wants to win. You can see where he is on this list when he should be at the top of it. He also structured his deal so his cap hit is only 14 million dollars. Which for how much value he adds is extremely cheap. all the other QBs prioritize the highest contract they can get. Tom would rather win than make a few more million. which is partially why he will go down as the best ever. Sleep on money or be remembered for being the GOAT?

So last night what was the point john fox. play trubisky and run the ball. get him 5 passing plays. with no Oline or recievers, against Gregg Williams defense aka bounty gate, got hit a few times hard. Then shaw gets hurt and no sanchez as backup to come in, so trubisky has to go back in for 3 plays and he gets F-in sacked again with freaking 5th string blockers. I wanted to kill fox. he should be fired. really. So stupid. I dunno even kno what he is thinking run the damn ball.

"John Fox says Mark Sanchez was not available to enter the game late 4th quarter when Connor Shaw got hurt. Fox didn't think Bears exposed Trubisky to injury by having him throw three times late in a meaningless preseason game."

Well it all begins for real on Sunday. Looking at the Bears Roster the first team D looks impressive after that so so on O. WRs are all small quick guys except White who has been a bust so far. Make or break year for White or he will be following the Langford release next year summer. Pace gets rid of draft mistakes lines up the next guy. Both Langford and White looked good on paper but injuries slowed them down and they may make some NFL team that needs them if deep at WR and and wants to take a chance with Langford at RB. I'm still hopeful White can step it up but if not bye bye. I'm already looking to new WRs next year in the draft. Trubisky needs targets with hands and Gentry might develop into something special just like Cam with time. I sure don't think the Bears can beat Atlanta in the opener but they need to beat 1 of the contenders in the 1st 4 games to believe in themselves. I would hate to see 0-4 3-7 point Ls in first 4.... that would be awful!!!

I was listening to an out of state pod cast and they were talking how Fox had Trubisky hand off first three series 9 straight plays and three three and outs. 3rd string QB comes in gets hurt and they call Mitch back in. Runs it a few times then inexplicably Fox goes for it on 4th down and gets Mitch crushed.
If I was Pace I would of told him to pack his bags. If you're that stupid in the preseason there is no way you can coach my team in the regular season.

Yea to be honest im surprised when they drafted trubisky they didn't make the change right away. not gona be best scenario if they change head coaches right when the kid gets comfortable with system. maybe pace has someone in mind like sean peyton to get fired. I dunno.

Either way ready for some real football. bears 7 point dogs. see what happens.

Shaw got hurt 2x in minutes and he is 4th string Trubisky is number 3. I suppose Fox could have had RBs hand off to RBs to close out the game but Trubisky was the only semi warm QB so in he went. I agree getting Trubisky bashed on the last O play was stupid call by Fox & I'm not sure why he did it other than he wants to put pressure on Trubisky get him used to pressure execution....otherwise IDK.

Just punt the ball away...there was less than 2 mins left. or have trubisky knee it. I dunno don't run a F-IN pass play tho. geezus.

He should be #1. Just a matter of time.

Tuff loss. Chance to win at end if howard makes easy catch for game winner.

Glennon has no pocket presence at all. zero. 4 sacks and all could have been avoided IMO. he doesn't feel the rush. nice way to end the game.

other than that he didn't make the big mistake but still. 26-40 and only 176 yards. YAY!!! Dink and DUNK specialist.

The defense I thought played well ......as expected. Really minus the big botched coverage play the high powered Atlanta offense couldn't do much.

The bears can run the ball, cohen is a player. o line played well. Kevin white saga I think is over. the bears have no WR's, but running and oline is fine.

If mitch trubisky plays the bears are 1-0.
