Come On Menards!

Just went to Menards store just north of Indy. No mask required. Signs are off the doors and sandwich board is gone. Sign that is on the door says they are following CDC guidelines so vaccinated no mask required, non vaccinated mask should be worn. No one at the door watching or checking. All the employees were still masked up though. That was the last hold out in my town. No place else required it.

Mills Fleet Farm in Oconomowoc, Mask signs gone, all employees no longer wearing masks. Saw customers still wearing masks, I say if you want to wear a mask do it, it's just not for me.

So good to see.......

Did our shopping circuit in Burlington WI today including Menards and I was surprised at how many shoppers are still wearing masks. I’m done with masks hope to never wear one again but those that choose to wear masks ok with me.

I realize a lot of the masking was fear of litigation by the larger corps. Now that the CDC has relaxed the mandates many outlets have done the same. Locally though, our McDonalds franchises still require masks and don't allow for in-store dining. Big sign on the door, Don't Ask, No Mask, No Debate. The "No Debate" thing rubbed me the wrong way and I haven't eaten at Mickey D's since before the big pandemic...and I'm probably healthier for it too.

That sign is not acceptable. However individual franchisees can say and put on their doors whatever they want to a point.

The dining rooms are currently being re-opened now as many in my area are fully open with of course limited seating. They are NOT supposed to be policing the mask wearing at all and customers are no longer required to wear masks if vaccinated but they are also not going to be asked if they have been or not.

No I haven’t worn a mask except Menards for 3-4 weeks now. Menards was the only store demanding masks when I started this thread. I was frustrated with Menards and stayed away then the CDC repealed the mask mandate and Menards finally got with the maskless program so I returned. This was probably my first time shopping after CDC repealed masks and I was very very surprised by how many shoppers chose to wear masks. Their choice but I had to wonder why the masks? Either a lot of unvaccinated people or people are scared of the unknown. Idk I wasn’t going to ask but seems pointless to me to wear a mask if vaccinated.

They are brainwashed by the media believing face diapers will save them from getting the China virus.
