trailshredder: I was actually reading an article where it said Iran and Venezula are supposedly losing money with the price as it is because they are taking the money that they are getting from oil and Iran is spending it on Uranium Enrichment and moron Chavez is buying Russia military stuff. They are being VERY GREEDY and have had a taste of money and now they can't pull the claws out.

This is gonna get real interesting to see where the Saudis stand on it.

I have a bad feeling about Iran and Venezula trying to screw with our economy. I can only see it going one way and that's not where we want to be, that's for sure.

Yesterday when I was coming home from work it was $2.99. This morning it was $3.01 at the same place. OPEC Meeting:

Given the foregoing, the Conference will continue to provide to the market crude oil volumes required by consumers. Accordingly, the Conference has decided to decrease the current OPEC-11 production ceiling of 28.808 million barrels a day by 1.5 mb/d, effective 1 November 2008, with Member Countries strongly emphasizing their firm commitment to ensuring that the volumes they supply to the market are reduced by the individually agreed amounts, as shown below.

This comes from the OPEC website. I figure the reduction in production is the reason for the 2 cent increase. Hopefully it doesn't continue...

I want to know when food prices will come down, LOL!!! NEVER!!!

OPEC lowered production and the oil futures continued to fall.If the Dems hold on to their majority in the House and Senate this election, you can bet the Drill here--Drill now will get the shaft along with the secret ballot in union elections.Nate,is your company non-union at present?

When a union targets a business, they don't just come in and explain their case--it starts out with a stacked deck.Have your boss checkout the legislation involved in "employee free choice" on the internet. If the Dems get their way,he won't have a chance-----or choice. The legislation is written and ready to pass into law after the election.Believe me, the present law is pain enough.Wallmart will prob be the first victim.
