Not too long ago, I would have voted Chevy. Now I'll opt for "none of the above".

(no, that doesn't mean I own "foreign" or am considering buying "foreign"). It just means I'm dissatisfied with Chevy and have no experience with the other two.

Iam not brand specific. My current vehicle is a 2006 Dodge Ram Quad Cab Hemi. My wife's ride is a 2002 Chevy Suburban. I have owned every type except Jeep. When I am in the market for a new truck, I look at what catches my eye and stay in my price range.

There seems to be a few automotive brands missing. Are we supposed to answer with what we own today or what we aspirie to own?

.

I still vote Chevy - my last three have all been solid vehicles, maybe its been the luck of the draw??
I did find out that a Z71 (Off Road?) Avalanche is not exactly made for off-road. After banging around some of the logging roads in Marquette County a couple of bow seasons some things started to give out...

Actually, without getting into a long story, my beef has more to do with their poor attitude and customer service (to a long-time Chevy & GM loyalist) than it does with the truck itself. Maybe Ford or Dodge aren't any better in that regard, don't know. But they're going to get consideration when the time comes for a new one.

does he know how to take care of a vehicle? There should be no problem having any gasoline engine vehicle not lasting past near 150k, if taken care of correctly should last to 300k. Dielsel.... longer then youd want to own the vehicle!

GMC here but I drove them all at work for over 30 yrs. We often had one Dodge, 1 Ford and a Suburban in our section. I will say this, in 30 yrs we never lost an engine or trans in any Chevy but I cannot say that for the the other 2 and those issues were not exclusive to just our crew.
